Guest guest
Both men and women receive cultural conditioning that affect their thinking and behavior to some extent. In this culture, many men have been taught that the only acceptable emotion to express is anger. The other feelings often get suppressed. I've noticed that men have a desire to fix what's broken. When something can't be fixed, like RA, it's a frustrating, helpless feeling, perhaps leading to outbursts of the one acceptable emotion. Men are no better or worse than women. We are all human beings doing the best we can. Sierra > You know- Its strange. The whole psychology of men and pain. When men are > in pain, they are not stoic. They are big babies and need coddling.
