Guest guest
Please give him some cocunut milk. You can buy plain cocunut milk from whole foods(Purely Decadant brand). It is very tasty and helps immensly in moving the bowels. Make it a practice to give him cocunut milk with his cereal in the morning breakfast. Thanks Rochelle. > > Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe constipation. Guest guest
I forgot to mention that I've started him on Goat Milk, last night. Not Raw yet. He has been having watery, small poops, with small pieces of hard poops. Seems the poop is moving down. He is sugar free and yet, something interesting was that his glucose level was at 157. Normal range is 90-105. Doesn't coconut milk have sugar? > > > > Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe constipation. Guest guest
Do you give him apple juice or pear juice? Unsweetened apple juice has 28gms of natural sugar per 8fl oz. Cocunut milk has 4gms of natural sugar per 8fl oz. Normal range is 90-105 for fasting blood glucose(no food or drink for 12 hrs). Guest guest
He drinks V8 Diet Juice that has 2 Grams per each 8 oz. Maybe is not ideal, but anything else turns him into a crazy person. > > > > > > > > Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe constipation. Guest guest
The goat milk was causing the gas. Sounds like he was not *impacted*, but rather had trapped gas. Ouch!! Everyone has bowel in the intestines moving downwards and out. For the record, I got a BAD CASE of gas when I first had crumbled goat cheese. I cried all night. > > > > > > > > > > Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe constipation. Guest guest
No, perhaps I didn't make myself clear. The goat milk he didn't start drinking until later last night, after the pain and the hospital visit. He had not had any type of milk for seven years. He definitely had a lot of gas, huge pockets all up and en down his colon. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it, but that was before the goat milk. > > > > > > > > > > > > Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe constipation. Guest guest
> Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe constipation. He had spent the night first laughing and giggling, but in a bad way, like he was in another world, then the crying started. There are two things that caused impaction here, yeast overgrowth and magnesium deficiency [caused by certain supplements]. Because of the laughing/giggling, I would start by increasing the yeast protocol. http://www.danasview.net/constip.htm http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > He did get an ex-ray of his abdomen and I got to finally see how much poop was in him. It was everywhere!! But not much towards the bottom or the colon. What does that mean? He was also full of gas! More gas then poop-ouch!! Yeast tends to cause a lot of gas, in addition to being constipating. Dana
Guest guest
If he takes Grapefruit Seed Extract, cut it completely. A lot of the natural yeast fighters will cause constipation. I didnt know this until I cut everything. Most yeast symptoms went away when I stopped treating yeast daily. My daughter was acting my yeasty ON the antifungals than off of them. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Yesterday had to take Mickie to the hospital for severe > > constipation.
