Guest guest
I would get him to a doctor and do whatever tests they decide. My son had hyperbilirubin anemia, and we spent about four days in the hospital under the lights. Yellow skin is a sign of jaundice --the bilirubin is depositing in the skin. Is he itchy? I would think they need to do a blood test. I think that I remember them doing both urine and blood on me when I turned yellow (mine was thanks to a flu shot). Guest guest
Not sure about urine testing for bilirubin. I would assume the blood test is better though. I'd suggest getting a liver panel done in the near future. I have a similar problem with my skin and bilirubin was elevated for me. Have you ever noticed bile flow problems such as pale stool? > > > > Hello all my son in the spectrum skin changed look like too yellowish what that can be could that be need of adrenal suport someone have any idea. > > Thanks > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
I am not a doctor, but I have had liver problems in the past. It will be blood work. I know they tested urine for albumin. He needs to see a doctor.
Guest guest
What has he been eating lately? My youngest loved squash, sweet potatoes, and carrots. He turned orange just cause he had higher amounts of that in his system. He did the same with fruits. My husband as a child turned the same color due to loving squash. I'd still get it checked out asap by the doctor. Re: [ ] Re: yellow body skin????? I am not a doctor, but I have had liver problems in the past. It will be blood work. Guest guest
The diflucan can cause liver problems. Are the whites of his eyes yellow too? Another sign of jaundice. I second everyone else's opinion here and take him to a doctor very soon. > > > From: Sonya1431968@... <Sonya1431968@...> > Subject: Re: [ ] Re: yellow body skin????? > > Date: Monday, 18 October, 2010, 2:14 > > > Â > > > > What has he been eating lately? Guest guest
If my child's skin appeared yellow I would get him to a doctor ASAP. If I noticed the whites of his eyes were yellow, I would go straight to the hospital ASAP. Don't wait. My son tested very high for copper when he was about three. We made a bee-line to see a neurologist and get testing done (had to rule out 's). some things you just don't procrastinate on. Yellow skin is one of these. You must rule out the cause of it. Guest guest
> Hello all my son in the spectrum skin changed look like too yellowish what that can be could that be need of adrenal suport someone have any idea. Poor liver function, or improper carotene conversion. If the liver tests come out okay, he probably does not convert carotenes. Did this happen right after you gave him the high dose of OLE? My son's body did not convert carotenes until I gave him zinc, vitamin C, selenium, iodine, and tyrosine. Dana
