Never mind what I asked. I worry to much and 25mg is less then 1/2 per

pound. I just remember someone here writing that they were using 12.5 mg and

on an adult. I just want to make sure there is 0 redistribution. I may try

lowering the dose next round, just to see how he does.

Personally, I like giving as close to the 1/2 mg per lb dose as the person can

tolerate. If Mickie does well on the 25/25 dose then keep it that way. If you

are seeing issues arise, then you can try lowering to 20mgs each and see what

happens or up a anti yeast/probiotic protocol to see if it makes a difference.

I give my 65lb 9 yr old son twice that amount. He has been doing well on 50mgs

DMSA/50mgs ALA for quite a few rounds. I know that is outside of the range we

advocate for AC chelation and I'm not saying anyone should do what I do. I saw

a bump in progress when I upped it to this level and I'm happy with my decision.

He had reached somewhat of a plateau and I got nervous (impatient?).

Thank you Pam. Well it's not that he hasn't done well, because my mom

watches his behavior day to day, when she visits with me and she sees him do

well on chelation as well as bad. It just depends. Every round doesn't go

smoothly, but when it does you can really tell.

Zurama,

Are these behaviors only seen when you chelate or are they his typical ASD-like

behaviors that seem exaggerated when you are chelating?

Sometimes, it is tempting to create a problem where no problem exists. We watch

like hawks for *issues* to arise and jump the gun?

Could that be the case here? When things go 'bad', what do you mean?

I look more tired during chelation because I have trouble falling back asleep

when I get up for the 12 and 4 am doses. So I am tired.
