My daughter had problems with urination while she was on miralax and it was

related to high oxalates.

If both features are in the same child, it raises a suspicion of 's. In

any case I think the child should have a sonogram to exclude anatomic

abnormality of the bladder or collecting system. If the UTI is persistently the

same organism, it may a period of suppression to eliminate the infection. If

the organisms are different you have to consider the possibility of

instrumentation of the urethra.

Dr Rydland,

when l hear about a female suffering from permanent urinary problems and pain, l

think about Vulvar Pain Syndrome.  Treatment recommended by the Vulvar Pain

Foundation is based on the LOD, still, other scientists believe the diet is only

efficient for a restricted time and then other health problems start to show

up.  l suggest reading  the vitamin k2 protocol from dr. Tamaro, on

one of her papers, she describes how women suffering from this condition have

improved tremendously on the k2 protocol.  Without necessarily marking positive

for infections, my kid suffered from poliuria, incontinence and obvious pain by

urinating  a while ago.  l am on week 5 with the k2  protocol and he is doing

great, this protocol (the first 5 steps) address urine acidity in a direct

form.  Hyperacidosis can lead to recurrent infections and thinning of the

tissue covering the inside of urinary bladder.  At the same time it causes

irritation/inflammation,

As for the other case, in short stature l would discard change in genetical

expressions, hormone levels (GH especially) and kidney condition.  if she has

multiple food sensitivities,  l would also check for phenylketonouria, given

that one of the symptoms is short stature and inability to gain weight properly.

l love Brainstorming, it frequently sheds light on important topics.

regards,

isa

Malabsorption can lead to short stature and is associated with high acidity.

Chronic infection is also associated with high acidity and can cause discomfort

when urinating. That would be the first thing I would look at. The second

would be a salt/mineral issue. The gut develops and urinary tract are both

lined with mucus membranes and if there is an issue with salt, it can negatively

impact both -- which would also promote infection. Sea sat might help with that

issue. (Or course, one thing which does both of these is Cystic Fibrosis. They

are increasingly recognizing milder forms of it. Not saying that's the answer,

just saying I'm familiar with that because I have it.)

Good luck with this.

1) Short Stature -

I assume there is also wide shoulders, wide hips, very pretty features, some

aggression?

2) Chronic UTI -

What is the yeast like?

I know the products to treat the causes, but are you just looking for a

diagnosis and back up?

One of my kids had this problem. He needed carnitine and thyroid support.

I helped one family whose child had an issue similar to this. Olive leaf

extract resolved the problem.

We're already dealing heavily with yeast treatment.
