Dear Sandy- You can use a bottled vitamin supplement called "mineral water" which comes in lots of flavors. I found them last night and they taste good. The hot toddy is just hot water with a little equal and some juice, merely a combination of juices and sugar. I make mine like a mimosa. I drink alot of it. I add 75% water and 25% juice. You can use OJ and cranberry, or OJ and pomegranate, or juice blends like cran strawberry or pineapple orange. I drink Apple juice also and gatorade too. I like something hot and sweet. It works for me. You can use herbal tea also but try not to drink caffienated tea because it tends to be drying. Also invest in a great moisturizer. I use moisturizer after my bath faithfully every day. I never skip a day. I dont buy just any moisturizer. I buy the nice ones they have at marshalls or TJ Maxx. Moisturizer is a personal choice of course. I like mine to be light, but very intensive and aromatic too. I can send you a bottle if youd like. I have several. Always use a moisturizing body wash, something with honey in it. Sweet Almond Oil works for the body too. One more thing. Use exfoliating gloves, ( I can send along a pair of those too, and wash with them. They are great on your entire body and face to remove dead skin. Since winter is coming dont forget a humidifer for yourself. Wear cotton gloves and sox to bed slathered with moisturzer too if its a real problem. Last but not least, a water colonic. After my Remicade treatment, I have to use those to help neutralize the medication and I also use that if I get a migraine after the infusion. It always seems to help. My mother used to be a nurse in the "olden" days and she swore by those for anyone who had a chronic illness or severe dryness. Since its internal, body tissues absorb the water and hold it in. Its the closest thing to a saline IV I know of to rehydrate myself. Yours, Deborah.

Deborah, that would be great of you to send those things, I can reimburse

you for them. Seems as though I had taken lots of prednisone when

first diagnosed years ago the skin on my forearms tears very easlly.

I jsut bump and it rips I have to be very careful. Do you think these

things would help me? I have been to the dermatologist and he says it

is just thin skin.. I hate it I am 48 with hands of a 70 year old.

Thanks again Sandy

Dear Sandy- Please send me your address. I will mail out asap. Remember that what you put into your body is important as what you put in. Go to target and buy the multi-vitamin-multi-mineral 50+ complex with the black label. Drink plenty of fluids, as I said, hydration, hydration, hydration. Taking the multi each day twice a day am + pm will help. You are losing elasticity and tone too so having a diet rich in olive oil will help too. Yours, Deborah
