Hey all. I have a serious question here about husband.

In the past, at various times, I have smelled a fruity-chemical type smell

coming from hubbie's mouth. In hindsite, I can remember that ever since we have

been together (15 years), he has had poor dental care (he does not have

insurance and rarely goes to dentist). Anyways, in the past, he has shown me

silver fillings that have come out and c/o toothache, etc... I never put the two

together until yesterday when he handed me several pieces of tooth/teeth (?)

will silver/black filling materials in them. He said, " here, you want to check

for mercury? there you are. " I was so stunned at MORE of these falling out,

breaking off, etc... (I wish mine would!!) I was worried that this unique smell

(kinda smells like a diabetic fruity smell, but with a twist) may be from

mercury emitting from his falling out/breaking off fillings. (YUCK)

I was wondering if anyone knows the smell that may be associated with this?

BTW, husband has MASSIVE memory issues and I have recently come to the

conclusion (based on other things, esp. how the genes fell in our kids) that it

is NOT from ADHD, which I have.

-So, anybody know is the smell is relatd?

-What should he do without insurance? (about the recurring dental problem)

-And what can/should I do with the fillings? (Do not want to destroy them

because he might get insurance, and I feel this is an important piece of the

puzzle, but I want to get them out of my purse!!)

Thanks,
