Does it get redistributed ... > > Kareen > Kareen, I'll leave it to the experienced members to answer your question, but related to that question, is fiber valuable during chelation, especially after the last dose of a round? There is an extremely interesting paper by J Rooney presented in 2007 proposing that fiber could be valuable. The paper is available in Files at http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/oEeuSwoGA9DWpr3v_hP3mKjCHB8dyH-yWbJd1VuUIuHn5g6iIJ7\ UVHNZcWcBs4BVz4yZaHqstimzMVKYZ1MGSuooFPKsBKQd/Rooney2007.pdf The following are a few quotes from p.152. " in vitro studies have shown that wheat bran can effectively bind mercury " " a 30% bran diet was seen to increase the rate of elimination of mercury from the body and to reduce the level of mercury present in the brain... " " it is proposed that fibre in the diet interrupts the entero-hepatic recirculation [esp methylmercury]by binding the mercury and undergoing excretion, thus leading to an increased rate of elimination of mercury. " Has anyone seen any additional information on the possible role of fiber in reducing redistribution? Joe
Guest guest
There is always a certain amount of redistribution at the end of each round. But is the blood levels have been constant throughout the round, it is relatively small. See Amalgam Illness pp 199-201. kareenk wrote: > > Read Andy's book but cannot digest all the info. > > Can anyone explain what happens after the last dose of DMSA/ALA is > given during the round? Since it doesn't have the high sulfur issues of chlorella/algins and stays in the gut, we use it at the end of rounds. I theorize it might prevent reabsorption of remaining toxic metals contained in the bile, but haven't seen anything that specifically confirms that. These are some reports on pectin though (http://www.springerlink.com/content/h274504752m30735/) (http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=973732)

Guest guest
Thank you. I went back and reread the pages. From your experience, is it better to chelate 3 on/ 11 off or 5 on/9 off? I understand the crucial point is the frequent dosage but wondering if pushing a few more days would make a difference. Also, how do we determine the upper limit of the dosage? From what I've read the dosage is 1/8 to 1/2 mg per pound. Is 1/2mg the maximum? We started in the afternoon today due to asthma in the morning. But so far, so good. Only side effects we are seeing is a little dry lips and constipation. Thank you for taking the time to post! Guest guest
>>3 days on is the minimum, 5 days can be better when you start, reducing redistribution effects at the end of the round. How ever many days you are ON you need to be at least that many off. Andy says you can go to 14 days on as I recall. My friend with highly Mercuy toxic CP lad has to go 7 on 7 off to keep him conmfortable Mandi in UK I though Cutler said 3 on 4 off - so a round every weekend - thats what we are oing RE: [ ] Re: What happens to mercury released from last dose in round? though Cutler said 3 on 4 off - so a round every weekend - thats what we are oing o: rom: kareenk@... ate: Sun, 28 Mar 2010 06:56:28 +0000 ubject: [ ] Re: What happens to mercury released from last dose in ound?
