Guest guest
Viral rash. keep him virus free and they will go away. (Hard to do if he is in school, I know.) > > Hi, all you smart folks: > every time our guy gets sick: cold, flu, or whatever he breaks out in a rash around his mouth, not on his lips, just the skin around his mouth. It doesn't itch or hurt and he doesn't even know it's there. Any ideas? >

Some people have described that rash as a yeast rash, and viruses tend to increase yeast, so I would increase the yeast protocol and see if that helps. Guest guest
Hi Dana, we had his yeast tested and he has a very very low count for yeast. Only 47 (whatever that means) but his np was very pleased with that. nancy j From: danasview <danasview@...> Subject: [ ] Re: fine rash Date: Saturday, June 12, 2010, 6:58 AM  > Hi, all you smart folks: > every time our guy gets sick: cold, flu, or whatever he breaks out in a rash around his mouth, not on his lips, just the skin around his mouth. What type of test was it? Did it give results for yeast in all areas of the body, or only the GI tract? Also, the test would give results that are 80% accurate, for that exact moment in time. Even one hour later, the situation might be different. So if this was my child, and he was showing yeast symptoms even after a test was negative, I would still give him something for yeast and see if it helped. Other reasons for a rash around the mouth are B2 deficiency, vitamin A toxicity, viruses, and a few other things. Dana
