Guest guest
My son used to repeat what I was saying when he was learning how to talk. After almost a year and a half he has stopped this behavior almost completely. He still repeats some things he sees on TV some. Another symptom of mercury poisoning. What I do is say- don't be a parrot- that is the question- what is your answer and he will answer now. I tell him don't be lazy. Sometimes he just repeats thinking it will please us or when he is paying rapt attention to a computer game and is tuning us out.
