Hi,

I am new in this group.

My daughter is 8 yrs old. She is ADHD and lately have some autistic features

(hand flapping and verbal stimming).

We did the hair test on September 09 under dr. data - She is high in mercury,

arsenic, aluminium and lead.

We started to give her candidase, virastop, trienza, magnesium, zinc and vit c

on Oct. After 2 weeks, we saw tremendous improvement. Her hyperactivity

disappeared and her awareness was great !! After that, we decided to see a DAN

dr.

Our 1st consultation with our DAN dr ended up with 25 supplements. We started to

give

1.) metronidazole 5ml x 2 / day for 2 weeks,

2.) Sporanox 100mg x 2 / day for 2 weeks to deal with fungal on her toes

3.) Co-Q10

4.) L- Carnitine

5.) Seleno

6.) GABA

7.) L-gluthatoine

8.) Colustrum

9.) Zinc

10.) magnesium

11.)Vit C

12.) Candex

13.) Nystatine

14) Probiotic

15.) S. Bolardii

16.) Magnesium sulfate cream

17.) Dual detox

18.) Interphase Plus

19.) Biotagen

20.) Trienza

21.) No Phenol

22.) Taurine

23.) L-glutamine

24.) Super nu thera

25.) Calcium

26.) Cod liver oil ( Ah... more than 25 items)

After taking the supplements, my daughter started to have foam in her mouth

(those foam are from saliva).

I have been trying to figure out what causing it. Can it be too much supplements

?

I stopped the probiotic, enzyme and candex 2 weeks ago and stopped all mineral

supplements 1 week ago, the foaming seems to reduce but not totally disappear. I

stopped the supplements as i was preparing my daughter for comprehensive stool

test.

I went to see my DAN dr again but he also can't tell me wht causing it.

I started the probiotic, enzyme and minerals few days ago. Beginning, the foam

not so much.

Just now, she has slight fever and i saw the foam keep coming out.

I am wondering whether should i proceed to do the chelation (my daughter has

PANDAS too) under another DAN dr who follow Amy's protocol or shd i stick to my

existing DAN dr.to heal the gut first ( i am worry i may not give enough time

for the DAN dr and myself to address my daughter's gut issues, also not sure

whether this DAN dr. experience enought to help us) ??

Regards,

Tammy, no I was asking about NAET during chelation. Thanks!

before we get started with chelation. My ID twins daughters are 3 1/2, and have

been on a DAN protocol for 1 year with slow, steady improvements. Along with a

PDD-NOS dx we also deal with severe anxiety, no speech, and global development

delays (example: they didn't walk independently until 21 months). I have backed

out of starting DAN chelation several times, but after researching AC I really

think it is the way to go for us. I do have a couple of specific questions that

I am hoping someone can address for me:

about chelations effects on reflux?

that to match what he suggests, but I am concerned about glutathione in

particular. Three months ago we added L-Glutamine (500 mg 2xday), then two weeks

later added TD Glutathione (250 mg 1xday), then one month after that added NAC

to the MB12 injections. I have researched until I am exhausted and still don't

know how to proceed with these particular supplements. I do have to say that

since adding these we have seen really nice gains with no adverse effects.

I think I would drop all of these, wait a week, then add them back one at a

time, so I would know what each one was doing, and which one/s might be causing

the problem you describe.

Yes, or not the right combination, or other issues. But you need to know which

one/s are causing the problem.

Hi ,

From reading your post clearly your daughter is having an adverse reaction from

any one of the supps you listed. It happened to my son too that he started

stimming and becoming anxious where he never usually was.

I literally stopped almost all his supps and just kept cod liver oil and built

it all back up slowly until i figured out what it was. Sometimes certain supps

have hidden 'fillers' in them and they dont write them. I have a whole cupboard

full of supps i had to stop giving my son as they had an adverse reaction to

him.

Perhaps choose a few of the more important ones to keep her on and see if that

makes a difference.

Best of luck
