Guest guest
I should probably preface this answer with the obvious (seeing as I get sarcasm from some when I do not), but what the heck, I think I will just state it....A2 Protein/Casein found in (amongst other milks) COW milk and it is there with or without pasteurization. Seems like a pretty obvious thing, but who knows. The Casein my kids/I are allergic to is in the milk that comes from the teat, pasteurized or not. Whether or not the dairy is raw or not is not even a question. > > > > > > here is another post from a board a raw dairy board and it is > about another mom like me who healed her son thru RAW dairy and now Dr. > ph Mercola and severala other researchers with autistic children are > having great results too. > > > please read, this was as or more important to 's recovery as ALA. > they say th perservatives in vaccines have killed all the gut flora too and > raw milk gives us our new start so to speak, w colostrum and enzymes > andprobiotics, PKLEASE PLEASE READ UP > > > > > > > > > RAW DAIRY IS GREAT FOR AUTISTICS is is the pasturazation that makes the > dairy bad. > > > > > > > http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2003/07/02/pasteurized-mi > lk-part-three.aspx > > > > > > that pop up goes away if you enter your email, I never ever get spam > > > > > > here is the post and ifg you look back you can see my sons protocal > > > > > > > > > My son is autistic so this article got my attention. Guest guest
Pasteurization, especially ultra-pasteurization, alters the proteins (well, the amino acids). Ulta pasteurization changes the viscosity of milk so much that guar gum and carageenan is added to congeal it up again. The protein still remains A2, but if it is altered, perhaps there is some truth behind being able to tolerate raw milk and not pasteurized milk proteins. Plus, when the enzymes have been killed off, my guess is there might be more chance for intolerance and poor digestibility and maybe even absorption of nutrients if they even really exist in bioavailable form after heating. True IgE allergies are a whole other issue. I would not be surprised if heat doesn't change that allergic status. BUT, the word " allergy " is so misused when it comes to Autism and food that I doubt many of us are dealing with allergies the way you describe yours at your house, . Yours is IgE? Are raw milk proteins larger than pasteurized milk proteins? I need to read some more. Either way, my MD husband isn't about to allow me to feed our kids raw milk. I do buy raw milk cheeses almost exclusively. When you mess with Mother Nature you run in to problems. Guest guest
I know my IgE tested great within normal limits. The pulmonologist was actually surprised. When my eldest (no autism that I know of), now 24, was young, she got deathly ill from milk. I would always know when the relatives gave her milk because she would be sick the next day or two (HIGH fever-106, vomitting until she dry heaved or was throwing up bile, diarrhea, etc...) Sometimes the reaction was immediate; sometimes it was not. We were just told she had a milk allergy. She still has it to this day. My mother says she has it also (age 77). My other kids apparently do, even though the allergy tests come back negative, because when we removed casein, the allergic shiners disappeared. > > > > > > > > > > here is another post from a board a raw dairy board and it is > > > about another mom like me who healed her son thru RAW dairy and now Dr. > > > ph Mercola and severala other researchers with autistic children are > > > having great results too. > > > > > please read, this was as or more important to 's recovery as ALA. > > > they say th perservatives in vaccines have killed all the gut flora too and > > > raw milk gives us our new start so to speak, w colostrum and enzymes > > > andprobiotics, PKLEASE PLEASE READ UP > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > RAW DAIRY IS GREAT FOR AUTISTICS is is the pasturazation that makes the > > > dairy bad. > > > > > > > > > > > > > http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2003/07/02/pasteurized-mi > > > lk-part-three.aspx > > > > > > > > > > that pop up goes away if you enter your email, I never ever get spam > > > > > > > > > > here is the post and ifg you look back you can see my sons protocal > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My son is autistic so this article got my attention. Guest guest
That sounds like a text book case, I bet they try raw milk and be just fine. That is why they are reacting so strongly but they don’t have the allergy to the actual casein per se so the antibody tests are neg … just like my kids… but you see with your own eyes they can’t digest it but they are not allergic??? That’s the missing link… the milk isn’t really the problem… its what we do to it for mass production and consumption From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of agirlnamedsuess21 Sent: Thursday, June 17, 2010 4:26 PM Subject: [ ] Re: research it is not casein your children are allergic too per se ..) it is PASTURIZED CASEIN I know my IgE tested great within normal limits. Guest guest
My oldest has a milk issue. Unsure what level it falls on with IgE, IgG, etc. We are actually off to a new MD today to talk about it. We had an IgE run twice and no real allergy shows up, but an environmental MD took one look at him and said, " Dairy " . We just haven't been great at eliminating it 100%. Shiners and congestion. Not on spectrum, but he is driving me crazy today being a lazy teenager. Guest guest
I don't agree with you, but I respect your opinion. Seeing that our digestion of milk was actually an evolutionary process, one of the first things to go when a person is metals toxic and has a poor immune system might be the ability to digest it. We tried raw milk from healthy sheep, we were sick for days. I think the real reason might be mercury or other metals turning off the enzymes needed to digest it OR the fact that an ingredient called casamino acid (casein derivative) is in the DTaP vaccine along with an aluminum adjuvant. When the body overreacts to the adjuvant, it may also form antibodies to the casein especially if that is the child's first exposure to the casein. I think there are very few kids out there that can tolerate casein anymore, unfortunately. > > > > > > > > > > > > here is another post from a board a raw dairy board and it > is > > > > about another mom like me who healed her son thru RAW dairy and now > Dr. > > > > ph Mercola and severala other researchers with autistic children > are > > > > having great results too. > > > > > > please read, this was as or more important to 's recovery > as ALA. > > > > they say th perservatives in vaccines have killed all the gut flora > too and > > > > raw milk gives us our new start so to speak, w colostrum and enzymes > > > > andprobiotics, PKLEASE PLEASE READ UP > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > RAW DAIRY IS GREAT FOR AUTISTICS is is the pasturazation that > makes the > > > > dairy bad. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2003/07/02/pasteurized-mi > > > > lk-part-three.aspx > > > > > > > > > > > > that pop up goes away if you enter your email, I never ever get > spam > > > > > > > > > > > > here is the post and ifg you look back you can see my sons > protocal > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My son is autistic so this article got my attention.
