Guest guest
Reflux. This was the beginning of the end with my son. I'd pick him up, he'd stop crying and quickly fall sound asleep in my arms, I'd put him back in his crib and he'd be crying again within several minutes. I figured this out after the fact. It lasted about 6 months and then the huge regression happened. He was fully vaccinated through age 18 months, and this started at 12 months after his round of shots (including chicken pox). Guest guest
Night waking could also be from lack of oxygen to the brain which causes bad dreams/falling sensation/etc. Pertussis toxin is associated with night terrors. > > All you mommies I need your advice. This is incorrect reasoning. Children that young just don't have enough life experience to develop 'psychological' problems, if they aren't behaving normally it is because some biochemical cause is interfering with their feeling normal. Guest guest
This is so sad. If I would have had ONE person suggest anything to me about how to prevent autism, I would have tried it just in case. I mean, I thought vaccinating him was good at the time, but I was still scared. I asked everyone I knew. Unfortunately no one had mentioned the consequences ( I read the wrong articles and didn't know about TACA). If it wouldn't have been for 's book, I don't think I would have pushed my then doctor to send me to a speech therapist. I have a good friend that has watched me go thru this with my son, she is a therapist that works with autistic children. I gave her all the literature, showed her my progress, begged her, cried in public when she got the H1N1 while pregnant, begged her to wait on the vaccines until he is older. I finally had to resign to sit and pray that nothing happens to her little boy. He is 3 months old, she is fully vaccinating at least she is breast feeding, but then again that can't be good since she herself gets vaccinated to high heaven and her mouth is filled with fillings. I know this is off topic, but what do you all do? I will never stop promoting prevention and my son's progress but when do you call it a day with friends that just don't get it? OK. Back to taking care of my son. We are watching Nemo, like Dory says, " Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. Just keep swimming. " That's just what I do.
