There are several things that can cause extended belly. Yeast and intolerances are two. Mitochondrial dysfunction is another one. http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm Dana
Guest guest
I know some people who swear that the low oxalate diet was the only thing that got the belly to go down. ________________________________ From: danasview <danasview@...> Sent: Sun, October 17, 2010 11:03:09 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Why doesnt the extended belly go away ..? Guest guest
Sorry, not enough information to go on. Is he constipated? Have you treated for parasites? Has nutritional status been examined? So sorry to hear your frustration. You've come to a great place for help. So many valuable insights here. > > Hello everyone ....This has been very tough to for me ... Guest guest
We have been doing biomedicine for over two years with our 5 year old and the entire time (until just recently) we have had the bloating, severely, like a 7th month pregnant woman. There are only two things (other than just the time involved with healing him for the past two years) that have changed recently that could be responsible for the flatter belly and that is the addition of homeopathy and starting the low oxalate diet. I'm not 100% either one is solely responsible for the lower belly, but I know that they both contributed some. Before both were introduced, we had periods of flat tummies here and there, so I know it was on the mend with the diets, supplements, and chelation, but these last two things definitely played a role in the more permanent results we are seeing. You can check out my blog for the details of our journey... http://grayson-youarewhatyoueat.blogspot.com/ > > Hello everyone ....This has been very tough to for me ... Guest guest
The distended belly disappeared, end of chronic constipation, yeast is much easier to control, even with chelating. We've been able do substantially reduce what we give for yeast. More emotionally stable. Dumping oxalates isnt fun, but the improvements have been worth it. Guest guest
Is he on any probiotic? I don't think you can heal that fast. Years of damage don't disappear overnight.
