Guest guest
Something that helps us is wiping down the belly with peroxide or diet tonic water. We also increase intake of sea salt to help with yeast. Also, my experience has been that bad die off causes bad yeast. Since the main thing I did for a long time was kill of multiple infections, killing infection more slowly was useful to me for getting yeast under control. One thing you might look for is some sort of recurrent/constant environmental exposure to bacteria and/or mold. My youngest son did lots better after we discovered and resolved a hidden mold issue in our apartment that he was more directly exposed to than anyone else because it was so close to where he slept. Good luck with this. I recommend capsules, because of the awful taste, but the apple cider vinegar has many benefits for the intestinal track. > > > > Andy > > 7 years old > > 47 pounds > > EXTREME YEAST (according to everything I have read from all of you about symptoms on this forum) He was also tested about 2 years ago from Dr. Bradstreet who said my son was higher in yeast than most of his 3000+ caseload. Guest guest
My son was on Diflucan, OoO and dBiotin for quite a few months, and it didn't help at all. Later on, I learned my dosage of dBiotin was too low: so we increased that and also added GSE. Meanwhile, we did a stool culture analysis, and as it turns out, he is not reactive to Diflucan & OoO (dBiotin and GSE were not covered in the test). But he is reactive to Caprylic Acid and GoldenSeal. Now after having been on dBiotin, GSE and then Caprylic Acid (for about 2 months now), his yeast issue is finally getting better and his recent OAT test showed lowest level ever.  Just our experience on yeast: I remain yet a struggling Mom on all kinds of issues... Try giving the biotin and GSE. Dana

But GSE can be hard of the stomach unless taken with food. Caprylic, oregano and pau d'arco are OK too (in fact NOW's Candida Clear has these in them along with a bit of magnesium and other stuff; the caps are a bit big but I find it quite effective). If your child is sensitive to phenols, you might need to give GSE or oregano (not sure about pau d'arco) with No-Fenol. Candex should be taken on an empty stomach right before bed or on waking. It's fine to give probiotics at the same time as Candex, but not GSE and probably not pau d'arco. My suggestion is to give the probiotics with the Candex, and some subset of the other yeast-fighters after meals. The other ones I have found useful are Neem and Yeast Ease, a tincture by Jernigan. > > > Does it affect the chelation? > Killing pathogens seems to improve chelation as you can get any metals which are released during die-off. I've also observed that taking anti-virals during chelation rounds required less yeast fighters on board than doing anti-virals w/o chelation. > > Does giving charcoal absorb the chelation? > Charcoal should not be given close to chelators; it might interfere. But charcoal after a round ends or an hour after giving yeast-killers and as occasional gastro detox is helpful for us. > Do I need to give probiotics at a separate time from the chelation? Guest guest
Rhonda, How kids react to different yeast remedies is very individual (just like their yeast symptoms can be). For example, GSE gave my kid intense stomach pain so it didn't work for us. You are already doing Diflucan and that is probably trying to " kill " the yeast. Now use probiotics to replace the yeast in his system so the yeast doesn't have room to come back. Brands I've used are Jarrow, Custom Probiotics, and Klaire Labs, but there are other good ones as well. You want to add the probiotics slowly ramping up the " CFU's " . Also give them away from anti-fungals (Diflucan, Candex/Candidase etc.) We have given up to 50 billion CFU's/day split into 2 doses but that was after ramping up. If that doesn't work all the way...add something else like biotin or coconut oil or Candex/Candidase. Fighting yeast is an ongoing thing..so you only want to use the minimum you need to keep it under control. Otherwise, it gets very labor intensive and very expensive. We had yeast issues from age 2 to age 4.5. Only after we had chelated for 6 months did we see improvements without using probiotics and/or anti-fungals. Our tools were probiotics, Candidase, and coconut oil, but you'll have to see what works for your kid. > > > > I don't think the diflucan will be enough.. Guest guest
1. I would delay chelation because the ALA is going to cause more yeast as will the metals coming out. 2. Biocidin from Emerson Eccologics with the companion liver support. Start slow, one drop in a sippy cup of juice (you need juice to mask the awful taste, you need the sippy cup to hide the fact his juice changed color), build a drop a day till you reach reccomended dose. This will make for less of a die off. He will be tired, and pooping out the most putrid stuff you ever saw or smelled in huge amounts. I would keep him home from school while he goes through this part because he will need to run to the toilet. 3. Sacharomyces Boulardii two hours away from any enzymes or antifungals so the probiotics stick. Best at bedtime on an empty stomach if possible. I hear Cyto Flora is a great probiotic, but it is crazy expensive and I haven't tried it. 4. One capsule of No-Phenol in the morning. Peptizde or HZ Prime enzymes before the appropriate meals. 5. Have you looked into the biofilm protocol? 6. Colostrum Gold. 7. Latoferrin 8. Can you get a doctor to prescribe Flagyl? > > > > Have you tried apple cider vinegar capsules? Guest guest
Maybe moving metals around in his body is something his organs and system can not tolerate right now. Here is what we are doing right now... We are doing QRA right now. That is quantum reflex analysis. It asks using a form of muscle testing which organs are weak and what supplements will make the organ stronger. At least that is how I understand it. I am doing this with two of my kids right now. One can handle metal detox and the other has leaky gut, parasites and staff and according to qra the one with leaky gut can not handle metal detox right now. Of course I have read that metals can cause leaky gut. I have tried heavy metal detox with him and he can not handle it. Right now we are supporting organs and gut with homeopathics and terrainmax(energetics and minerals), probiotics and nutri-west total systemic d-tox and have removed problem foods. And I saw mood, compliance, sensory and skin improvements. We are going back in 2 weeks and determine next step. My daughter showed weak detox organs and we have strengthened them with reishi, hyssop, soma and other things based on QRA. We have addressed possible weaknesses(viruses) in brain and liver with supplements indicated by QRA. We are doing heavy metal detox with her. She still needes lots of support for drainage to move metals out. We are using clay and foot baths to help detox pathways and terrainmax supps (mix of energetics and minerals) to help drainage. She seems to be doing better with detox symptoms(which I think are metals moving around). We have seen improvement in anxiety and verbal stimming(singing and muttering under breath) and still have hyper/silly behavior(metals moving around). Moods and language come and go as well. She is diagnosed as HFA(Asperger). My QRA practioner has told me several times when it comes up (via QRA) we will mud pack vaccine sites and that could really help her system function stronger. He explained to me that toxins(energetic and physical(is there a difference?)) are blocking her system and releasing this may improve her after she readjusts to a new energy flow. My son has issues but not diagnosed(sensory, skin reactions to cold and cognitive-information recall, reading, eye tracking). Finally my third child(not vaccinated) functions typically. > > > > > > Have you tried apple cider vinegar capsules?
