Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but I thought I would. Please take a moment to click on the link so the regional centers cannot cut services without our consent. Here's what I got from the Arc: Dear Friends, We have one week left until the hearing on our bill to assure that people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities can participate in planning their own services. If you haven't emailed the Senate Human Services Committee yet -- and asked your friends to do the same -- now's the time. The committee assistant, Joy Traynor, already has received hundreds, but I know we can get more. Here's the earlier Action Alert. To send your email, scroll down to " Take Action " : http://capwiz.com/thearc/issues/alert/?alertid=15115556 & queueid=5312305991. I almost never ask you to send one of these point-and-click advocacy emails. The people who get them know they're easy, so unless we get large numbers, they're worse than useless. For this one, we already have large numbers - please help us add more. And thank you for our advocacy.
