Guest guest
Hello, I am newbie and just joined in the group today. My 10-year old daughter is asd. I heard the chelation 5 years ago. But that time I feel it is too risky. So I never give it a shot and just think through the intensive training, my daughter will be getting better. Now I have to come back to re-consider the chelation approach because my daughter is in 4-grade now, the academics is getting much harder and challenging for her. Even though she is a very hard worker and she is willing to do whatever you ask her, since her brain is a starving brain, she could not get a lot of stuff especially in terms of comprehension. Her communication and language skills still are not good. So my question here is that too late to start chelation for my 10-year old daughter? I know the younger, the better for chelation. Does someone have any experience of chelation for a little old kid like my daughter's age? What's the progress and change? Thanks a lot, Yanping

No. Get on with it. >I know the younger, the better for chelation. That's a common opinion among incompetent doctors who don't know how to chelate properly. They need the kids to be young so they can recover from the damage doing it wrong causes. If you do it properly you can start at any age and expect benefits. >Does someone have any experience of chelation for a little old kid like my daughter's age? What's the progress and change? I've heard everything from infants to people with ASD (autism, asperger's) since birth who only started to chelate as adults. They did fine. > > Thanks a lot, > > Yanping > Andy http://www.noamalgam.com/index.html Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities http://www.noamalgam.com/nourishinghope.html Nourishing Hope for Autism: Nutrition Intervention for Healing Our Children http://www.noamalgam.com/biologicaltreatments.html Biological Treatments for Autism and PDD
Guest guest
We began chelating our two 13 yr old dds last February. One has not had much change (her problems are mostly anxiety related), but the other, ADHD/some autism symptoms has improved remarkably - we will be doing this for a long time, but wow, am I glad we tried this (despite how hard it is on top of homeschooling and having cancer myself this year) after so much time & money wasted on other things. Blessings, > > Hello, > > I am newbie and just joined in the group today. My 10-year old daughter is asd. I heard the chelation 5 years ago. But that time I feel it is too risky. Guest guest
Wow, , and I thought I had a lot on my plate with home schooling and a lot of other stuff. We stopped IV chelation forever last summer. I wish I had listened years ago when I first found this site, but we are getting ready to start as soon as I finish reading Andy's book again, refreshing my memory. My son winds up having a lot of yeast problems as due to his immune system and repeat infections, he has had to be on antibiotics a lot. We just finished that for another bout of cellulitis. For your own health, have your iodine levels checked. I have had a lot of cancer scares over twenty years with the last round about five years ago where I had to have dysplastic cells removed. Then I had my iodine level checked. It was very low, so I went on Iodoral. I threw out any antiperspirants and use only natural deodorants, gave up aluminum foil and foods from cans, and have had great reports ever since. No more fibrocystic breast condition either. Once getting going on the iodine, that disappeared too. I think iodine really helps in preventing cancer, thyroid health etc.. I'm no doctor here, but even my radiologist asked what I changed to have turned around so well. You are an inspiration to us all!

I chelated myself when I was in my 30s. Major improvements here with chelation and several supplements. Age 10 is definitely not too old. Guest guest
Jumping in here, hope you don't mind. Just adding a " Thank You " for clarifying this, Andy. Can't help but feel like I'm too late for so many mile stones in development. My son is eight and a wonderful child. Even so,keeping positive and passionate in this journey can be a challenge at times. It is advantageous for us all to encourage each other to keep going. Guest guest
Hi Yanping, Welcome. It's never too late to start chelation. You're in the right place. Please learn about Andy's protocol. If your daughter has ANY mercury amalgam dental fillings they will need to be safely removed according to proper protocol before you can start chelation with her. Guest guest
I started in my 30s too and one of my boys started at age 9. Age 10 is as good a time as any; the brain goes through a new growth phase during puberty so getting the metals out now will prevent problems later.
