Guest guest
Dear Shruti whichever you decide, go slow at first. sometimes chelation promotes yeast and you may be seeing that already in her mouth. the chelation should help with seizures over time, but go slowly. you probably have already looked at her foods, sweet things make yeast worse, GSE helps but avoiding it helps as well. also with urinary issues, watch out for high oxalate foods. best of luck to you and your daughter. > > Dear parents, > > Hello. Guest guest
Thank you so much for your reply!! I will sure watch out for yeast and for high oxalate foods. Is there any supplement that helps with high oxalate food? Shruti. > > > > Dear parents, > > > > Hello. Guest guest
Calcium Citrate will both bind oxalates if taken 20-30 mins before meals. Magnesium Citrate also binds them as well. Avoid high doses of Vit C. Vit C converts to oxalates. With her kidney issues, Id go low dose Vit C and look for other means of antioxidant support, maybe Vit E and A which also inhibit oxalates. VSL 3 is a probiotic that degrades oxalates pretty effectively. Biotin. Start low and work up. Will help control yeast, which produces oxalates. Karla > > > > > > Dear parents, > > > > > > Hello. Guest guest
My son (6 yrs) was taking 1200 mg, but we are slowly increasing. His hair test showed low calcium, which makes me think its being tied up with the oxalates and we need to supplement away from the meals.
