Confused: DMPS and DMSA what are the options - TD and oral?

Good afternoon, all,

Just wanted to be certain that I understand my options with DMPS.

Can DMPS be given orally?

I was under the impression that DMPS could be given transdermally, suppository,

or IV.

Regarding DMSA, can I get confirmation that the only option is orally?

Yes. Oral DMPS is the least expensive most effective delivery method. It must

be given in 8h intervals, or more frequently.

That impression comes from the people who want to make lots of money. They make

tons of money from the transdermal, suppository or IV DMPS and those delivery

methods hurt many people because the doses are too high and not given frequently

enough.

DMSA can be found in transdermal forms but oral is least expensive and most

effective.

DMPS is available orally in capsules, usually from compounding pharmacys

with a prescription.
