Guest guest
Hello, I am new here and would like to pose a question that I cannot seem to reconcile regarding ALA use before amalgam removal. I have neuropathy (primarily sensory) from a drug reaction (levaquin) that I have had over a year. I have been taking ALA and other supplements for most of that time due to the positive effects shown in studies and personal experiences of many other sufferers I have spoken with in various neuropathy groups. It is overwhelmingly positive. Now, It is my understanding reading about mercury toxicity and damage from such is primarily neurological in nature. Andy Cutler proposes that one should never use ALA with amalgams in place being that it mobilizes mercury which increases symptoms and damage. The contradiction seems that if all these people who already have various neurological issues improved while taking ALA and the vast majority undoubtedly have amalgam fillings in their mouths Mr. Cutlers theory is proven false. If it were true some or many would have gotten worse. I belong to a local neuropathy group (200 members) and using has been extolled as beneficial by those do such. I have read much of Mr. Cutlers information and have great respect for him and sure that I am probably missing something but I do not know what. I have done the hair analysis and according to his criteria (counting method) I am not mercury toxic. However I do have alot of amalgam in my mouth and use ALA. I want to understand this so if any of you good people can enlighten me I would sincerely appreciate it. alan
Guest guest
No one ever said that taking ALA with amalgams in your mouth would inevitably destroy you. No one ever said that any vaccine would inevitably damaged every child, either. But here we are. My son was damaged by DTP, as many were. At the same time I know lots of kids who are doing just fine with lots of vaccines. Does it prove vaccines are safe for everyone? Safe for my son and many other kids on this list? And I know a mum who started giving her son a high dose of ALA once a day. He was doing great on it! She was absolutely thrilled. Unfortunately in 3-5 months he went downhill, lost all his gains and even regressed, now she has no idea how to reverse it. Was it just coincidence? Or result of improper using of ALA? You see, this is a matter of chances. We are talking about risks. You were lucky. Can you garantee now it is absolutely safe for everyone damaged by mercury? Guest guest
THANKS FOR THE REPLY, I AM NOT SO SURE I AM LUCKY IF WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE. I HAVE TAKEN ALA FOR QUITE AWHILE ALONG WITH OTHER THINGS AND MY CONDITION STILL PROGRESSES BUT I WAS MAKING THE POINT THAT IS SEEMS SOME HAVE NO ILL EFFECTS OVER TIME. MAYBE I AM HOPING I WILL BE ONE OF THOSE. I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR SON AND THE OTHER YOU SPOKE OF. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE INHERENT RISKS IN ANY TREATMENT AND I AM SURE IT IS BEST TO ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION BUT MAYBE SOME OF THE THINGS ATTRIBUTED TO ALA ARE TRUE AND SOME ARE NOT AND MAY RESOLVE. I AM GLAD I POSED THIS QUESTION HERE AND ON OTHER GROUPS AS I HAVE LEARNED A LOT. THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN SO TO SPEAK. I WOULD THINK THAT IT WOULD BE FAIR TO REQUIRE A WARNING FOR ITS USAGE BUT THAT IS UNLIKELY. > > > > Hello, > > > > I am new here and would like to pose a question that I cannot seem to reconcile regarding ALA use before amalgam removal. Guest guest
Did the boy have amalgrams or was it just the ALA? My doctor said that it was dangerous (was not specific) to take ALA when you do not know what the levels of toxic metals are. I posted a few days ago, but I am drastically behind on catching up to e-mail's. I am aving probloems with doc's office doing Prior Auth. for the test and I cannot afford it. I *KNOW* mercury is in my system because one tooth is blue and one is black. If I do not get resolution soon, I will do ALA on my own, without doc's help. My son has no amalgrams, possibly got one dose of Hep B almost 7 years ago, has verbal apraxia, and may have gotten metals from my blood. I think that ALA has to be done in short rounds, right? I have heard people say here a few days, weekend, up to a week. Then off a while. What exactly is in ALA and what wll happen if you do not have toxins in your body and you take it?
