Hello Naomi,

You may want to check out Immunosciences Lab, Inc.

www.immunoscienceslab.com<http://www.immunoscienceslab.com/> they have applied

for FDA approval for Immunoserology of Lyme disease there are three different

tests, my doctor uses Test A, the test includes Lyme-Specific antibodies,

Borrellia Subspecies Antibodies, and Lyme cross-reactive antibodies. You will

need to pay for the test and then file your insurance yourself.

Wishing you better health,

====================================

Discussion on the list has established that a urine antigen test is needed

to test for Lyme disease if the serum tests turn out negative. But I just

read the material from Iganex, the only people who do such a test, and they

say they are not allowed to provide a urine antigen test for Lyme Disease in

New York State. So what do you do to follow up a negative Lyme serum test in

your patients who live in New York State?

Thank you.

Thanks, , I'll check it out -- isn't that Garth Nicholson's

laboratory?

I don't think it is worth it to get a test for lyme. I have the assumption that

my kids and I are full of various pathogens and I chelate us so that our immune

systems will be stronger and able to recognize and eliminate them. Even if I

did have money for the test to find out, I don't think I'd do it because my plan

of attack wouldn't change.

a regular lab and it came up neg (although I did have one positive band). I

want to do the Igenex test but can't figure out how to get that without

involving my reluctant Dr. He knows very little about Lyme and despite my

symptoms is reluctant to pursue it.

I can't chelate since I am still nursing and have amalgams.

My 2 year old can't chelate because I can't find supplements that she can both

tolerate and will take.

I need to know (as much as possible) if I need to attack Lyme or bark up another

tree.

Hi there-

You should absolutely test for Lyme through Igenex. My son has several lyme

specific bands that are positive and has greatly improved with the use of

antibiotics. Chelation will not get rid of Lyme. What band was positive - some

are VERY specific!!

I am not trying to be rude but in my opinion, treating for pathogens without

chelating first is worthless. Toxic metals displace essential minerals. The

deficiencies weaken the immune system and the displaced minerals (calcium,

magnesium, and iron, mostly) feed viruses, parasites and bacteria. The way to

get rid of the pathogens is get the minerals back to normal limits by chelating

out the toxic metals.

Pretty much all of the biomed together, but chelation mostly. By lessening the

immune triggers, you strengthen the immune system and allow it to start working

on healing the body.

I do ALA/DMSA with Cutler protocol and have also done IP6, zinc, and

over-the-counter antivirals/antifungals/antiparasite supplements (olive leaf

extract, amla, black walnut).

I used the IP6 kind of like a chelator, I gave it for a few nights (on empty

stomach) then stopped and gave it again for a few nights. The zinc I give

regularly (helps you fight the pathogens). I give amla all the time. We do a

parasite cleanse about every six months - the whole family - with black walnut,

and I used olive leaf extract quite a bit at first, but not so much anymore.

I can't say how each of these things " worked " because I really didn't see

anything specifically with these, I can only say that overall my son improved

tremendously with dietary changes, supplementation, and chelation.
