Guest guest
Hi Leah My homeopathic dentist says that tooth decay is specifically caused by sucrose - which is cane sugar. So if you are avoiding that, then cavities are way less likely. (Diets good for autism are free of sucrose anyway because it is so bad for feeding yeast.) The other thing to be aware of is that tooth decay is apparently a contagious thing (this surprised me but it came from a scientific evidence-based source) - the bacteria are often passed from the mother to the child especially if a Mum cleans a dummy by putting it in her mouth. So if you make sure you are free of decay then your child's teeth are better protected too. Guest guest
Hi, You may use salt. A friend of mine also have such problem. She use salt. Yes, table salt and use fingers to help his son. Salt also has anti bacteria properties. Hope it helps. ________________________________ From: awhi2110 <awhi2110@...> Sent: Thursday, April 29, 2010 10:51:14 Subject: [ ] Re: fluoride > > hi, > i remember hearing about fluoride being bad somewhere back in the day and so > i use tom's fluoride-free toothpaste for my son. we just saw his > pediatrician and i mentioned how its hard to get to brush his teeth and he > said we should come in for a fluoride brushing on his teeth and do it every > 6 months to protect them. can someone remind me why this is bad? also, do > you have any helpful tips for healthy dental care for a 2 yr old who doesnt > like his teeth brushed? > thanks > leah > > >
Guest guest
My children are 11 and 10 years old and have been fluoride-free for 4 years. We've had excellent reports from their dentist and hygienist, and no cavities, ever! My children aren't good tooth-brushers (they are probably average for their age in this respect); I credit their dental health to our use of zylitol in baking. I bake nearly all the baked goods that they consume (we are GF/SF/CF/yeast-free) and always use zylitol (usually corn-based but sometimes birch-based). Also, the only gum they chew is Trident original peppermint, which is sweetened with zylitol. Zylitol inhibits bacteria growth. HTH, hi, i remember hearing about fluoride being bad somewhere back in the day and so i use tom's fluoride-free toothpaste for my son. we just saw his pediatrician and i mentioned how its hard to get to brush his teeth and he said we should come in for a fluoride brushing on his teeth and do it every 6 months to protect them. can someone remind me why this is bad? also, do you have any helpful tips for healthy dental care for a 2 yr old who doesnt like his teeth brushed? thanks leah
Guest guest
industrial poison. another one of those things that I simply shake my head at... how gullible we are to allow this to happen. despite plenty of science to show how bad it is, good luck getting rid of it. yes, another one of those things that makes even sensical people wonder if there is not some intentional plan to injure the entire population. Guest guest
Tooth decay is actually caused by strep mutans.
