Guest guest
Eh -- they're students. That kind of thing kind of goes along with the territory. Hopefully they can do a couple things like unzip couch cushions and inspect > > Hi all, > I realize this topic is ot, however, I know some friends of my children will be off to college for the first time and are planning to outfit their apartments with furniture from Goodwill. I worry about things like bedbugs (or other crawlies)... just wondering what sort of things might be helpful to be proactive just in case? Like some sort of " safe " spray? > Thanks! > > > > > >
Guest guest
, The thirft stores spray the furniture, pillows, comforters, etc. before you buy them but I am not sure what they spray for. You might want to ask. They should have a tag (I think yellow) stating that the items is disinfected. Hope this helps! > > Hi all, > I realize this topic is ot, however, I know some friends of my children will be off to college for the first time and are planning to outfit their apartments with furniture from Goodwill. Guest guest
I used to shop Goodwill often. I never saw a tag that stated anything was disinfected. (?) The color of the tag just meant what discount was on for that week. > > > > Hi all, > > I realize this topic is ot, however, I know some friends of my children will be off to college for the first time and are planning to outfit their apartments with furniture from Goodwill. Guest guest
I used to be manager of a Goodwill Store. They don't spray or disinfect anything. They just look the items over for damage and send it to the sales floor. [ ] Re: Very OT: furniture from Goodwill I used to shop Goodwill often.
