Anti-b's increase the half life of mercury, I wouldn't be comfortable

chelating with it. Do you think you could kick the infection with other

products before using the amoxil (and amoxil has dairy.. just a heads up)

Dr. perscribed amoxicilin for 14 days

what should i do ?

kid takes pro b, and other yeast fighters

we were planning to do a round of dmsa and ala tomorrow

is it possible to do chelation and also give amoxicilin ?

Seems to have a sinus infection? Most clear up on their own. Try inhaling

steam (hot showers), nasal flushes (ugh) or ibuprofen if the pain is bad. I'm

not sure i would give antibiotics at all, or wait until I've done some home

remedies like listed above to see if it goes away itself.

I also would not chelate until next weekend.

I know exactly how you feel. My grandson is about to start round 46 and he just

had amoxicilin prescribed too but for strep throat. He doesn't even seem

sick...no fever. I am so frustrated. He is 5 also

they definitely over perscribe this stuff

im just worried that it can turn faster into something more serious

would it be reasonable to give the amoxicilin for 7 days or so to get rid of the

infection and then proceed with detox after inection clears

dr said he could clearly see infection up in the nose region

If it were me or my kid, I'd use OLE and Nutribiotic's GSE nasal spray,

and maybe oral GSE, too. Tons of probiotics spaced 2 hrs away from all this

stuff. Gentle warm steamy towels on face/sinuses with just ONE drop of

eucalyptus for helping things to drain. I would not chelate this weekend.

Just to make sure-

DMSA is 3 days on and 11 days off. Generally started on friday night at 4pm and

stopped monday morning at 4am. done everyy 3 hours around the clock. what

milligrams to start? I beleive it is 25 mgs, yes?

Can you use OLE and Oil of Oregano for Sinus issues in pregnant women. My

Sinuses are killing me. Can't use my rx Allegra D because it is a pregnancy C

category. I did see where Zyrtec is ok (cat . I would prefer something

natural. I'm only 8 weeks.

I want to chime in to recommend Olive Leaf Nasal Spray from Seagate. I had a

sinusitis/bronchitis in october, I was bed ridden for 3 weeks, but this stuff

really helped me clear my sinuses. The bad smell went away after 5 days on it.

I get great relief from sinus problems using the nettipot. Tepid water w the

included salts plus a few drops (2-3) of GSE (warning: stings!). Since u r

pregnant l also say cleaning your nose with Quinton hypertonic sea salt water is

a great thing to do.

OLE increases testosterone and OoO causes contractions, so I would avoid both,

especially at 8 weeks.

Neti pot is a great idea! Take some probiotics too..

If I used antibiotics, I would use them for the full 14 days. No sense in

partially killing off the bug only to have it come back stronger, and more

resistant.

So many of us work through sinus infections without even knowing we have one.

Check out the news articles from 2008 where they talk about the studies showing

steriod sprays and antibiotics do little for lessening the duration of sinusitis

and infections.

This is ultimately your decision, of course!

p.s. and it is no big deal to put chelation off for a week while your son

recovers. It won't change the outcome but might make it easier for him to get

over his current bug.

How do i know the difference between yeast and bacteria ?

sometimes kid has ring around anus, sometimes kid has white coating on toung and

sometimes gets fungus between toes.

when giving OLE do i need to separate from probiotics ?

If you decide to use amoxicilin, get a prescription of diflucan (sp?) - the

yeast killer - going at the same time. At least this is what my son's DAN

recommends.

if you DO need to give antibiotics, we use ceftriaxone which is injectable,

works great for my son, who does really bad on amoxicilin...

For me, it was a lot of observation of symptoms, and figuring out what worked to

eliminate each one.
