Extra minerals needed for RO water?

Hi all,

I saw some of the posts on water filters and had a question. For reverse

osmosis systems, is it necessary to re-mineralize the water?  Or is it OK to

just make sure and take enough minerals in terms of supplements?  (we're

currently chelating our son, so he's on the recommended doses of

minerals/vitamins, and the rest of us take a multi-vitamin, but I'm wondering if

we're all getting enough minerals since we drink mainly RO water).  If we should

be re-mineralizing the water, any suggestions as to the best way to do this?

Thanks so much!

=====> I use a distiller and hate the taste of distilled water. I put two

cap-fulls of burried treasure colloidal minerals per gallon of water and it

makes it taste normal. Heres a link

I don't remineralize, as we do take a lot of supplements and I have seen

mixed reviews on the necessity of it. I do however have concentrace that I

have added from time to time on the advice of my naturopath/DAN. I don't

really notice a different, but it maybe because we take enough in other

forms.
