It can be, or it can be a few other things. Did you add or remove anything

lately?

>>Any ideas on what could be causing this. I put her on 2 capsules of candidase

daily.

Do you give them on an empty stomach? Did it help?

Adding or removing something - No not that I can think of. Everything has been

the same. Infact I observed this more when we came came from visiting relatives

in land.

I actually give her after she has eaten supper and I haven't seen any

improvements such far. Is it better to give her on an empty stomach? Is the

dosage okay?

Candidase must be given on an empty stomach or it won't address the yeast.

Two capsules per day is a good starting dose. I would give one in the morning

and one in the evening at least half-hour before dinner or two hours after

dinner.

Thanks Dana. Do I need to increase the dose?

I would also look into oxalates.  They can cause the fidgeting and uncontrolled

wetting accidents along with grumpiness for no apparent reason.

Oxalates are crystals that the yeast makes when it overgrows.  It comes from

Oxalic acid which is a byproduct of yeast.  Oxalates under a microscope look

like chards of glass.  When they are high, they irritate the urethra in boys

and girls and make urinating very uncomfortable and can cause wetting.  Some

kids will cry, rub their parts and withold pee until they can't hold it any

more.  It's fairly common in our kids with yeast overgrowth.  It can also

deposit in small amounts in muscles, causing pains, restless legs, sore eyes and

a bunch of other strange symptoms.  If yeast is an issues, then cutting down on

oxalate foods while killing it might help with these symptoms.  The group

Trying_Low_Oxalates moderated by susan owens is a great source of all info on

oxalates.

Two capsules per day is a good starting dose. You can increase it if it seems

to help but not as much as required.

Hi Dana,

I gave my son candidase on an empty stomach but he ended up with gassy diarrhea

4 hours later? Could this be the yeast or just sensitivity to the high protease

content of candidase? He is already on digest gold before every meal.

This sounds like die off, at least it was at my house.

Dana,

Does candidase come in capsules or liquid form? Does it have an unpleasant

flavor?

It comes as a capsule. I don't think the taste is unpleasant, but it does have

a small taste. We just swallowed the capsules here, to avoid any taste issues.
