Guest guest
We use it. It's been helpful in determining supplements needed and not needed. It's viable in my opinion and seems to have been right so far for us. Just google monosodium glutamate. Some Chinese places do not use this anymore. Guest guest
We have used it for over 8 years now and I use it when I see other people. I was skeptical at first, but when someone can read my business without knowing anything about me, every time and with every practitioner, I couldn't dismiss it. The herbalists, NDs and electrodermal screeners we saw all said the same thing (MMR, DTap & Pertussis damage, viral brain infection, mercury, lead and cadmium poisoning, etc.), when the dr said our daughter had no issues. I had a very open MD and he used the results of the MRT to order different types of tests for metals, etc. and found the natural practitioners were right. Usually, if you have an allergy, they will give you something to balance it - an antidote. Did the person you saw give you anything to help with it? MSG is very tricky. It is hidden under a lot of names, so it may be helpful to print these out: http://www.truthinlabeling.org/hiddensources.html There are two books you may find helpful: " Life Energy: Using the Meridians to Unlock the Hidden Power of Your Emotions " http://www.amazon.com/Life-Energy-Meridians-Unlock-Emotions/dp/1557782814 " The Body Electric: Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life " http://www.amazon.com/Body-Electric-Electromagnetism-Foundation-Life/dp/06880697\ 11 Regards, Summer McFarland 1.22 HEAL KIDS 1.224.325.5437 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ------------------------------------- Over fourteen years of organic search engine optimization, marketing and design. Guest guest
Consider NAET ( www.naet.com ) which not only tests for food intolerances but treats for them as well. S S OT-Crosspost-Muscle esting for food intolerances Posted by: " nikkibarbieri " nikkibarbieri@... nikkibarbieri Fri Jan 15, 2010 3:51 pm (PST) Just wondering how many of you tried muscle testing? I recently receieved my son's results.I was skeptical of the muscle testing but am open minded so went ahead. Anyway, the only thing that came up was MSG.This evening after 2 days of seeing my son calm and NO hand wringing I gave him chinese fried rice.Ten minutes later he was going crazy with the hand wringing. He is also laughing inappropriately and making noises while he bounces his ball. I wonder if we hit the nail on the head and this is what is causing the hand wringing. The last few days I just went ahead and fed him very bland unprocessed foods until this evening. Has anyone had accurate results with muscle testing?I also need to know what other names MSG is labelled under.I have no idea but have heard its in alot of foods. Guest guest
MSG is also " natural flavoring " on the ingredients label. Guest guest
Where do you get muscle testing? It would be better than a blood draw for Igg. I would like another Igg test, but dread the blood draw. Guest guest
Jake's Mom, Not only have I HEARD of it working, me and my son are living proof that it works. And let me tell you this, too. You can do it on your own. I've been doing this for 2 years as I recover my son. First - I totally BELIEVE the MSG issue. I personally am HIGHLY sensitive to MSG myself (I am not on the spectrum), and get severely ill if I consume it in ANY form. There are MANY hidden names for MSG -so if you don't know those, you will need to learn them. Consuming MSG is AGONY for me. Migraine with severe neuro symptoms - almost stroke-like, and severe GI distress - violent vomiting. 2nd - if you haven't yet, I highly suggest you look into the term " excitotoxin " . That is what MSG is. Along with fake sweeteners. They destroy neurons in the brain. Not a good thing for anyone, let alone our kids. Dr. Blaylock has many articles available online about the damage from exitotoxins. The book " He's Not Autistic, but..... " by Tenna Merchant explains in simple terms how she used muscle testing to recover her son. Google it there is tons of info. Also called Applied Kinesiology (AK). > > Just wondering how many of you tried muscle testing? > > Thanks in advance...jake's mom >
Guest guest
What is MRT? I really recommend taking a look at this site -- this was one of the NDs who is a Master Herbalist and trains most of the herbalists and naturopaths on the VA peninsula. She was an aerospace engineer at NASA, so she is not at all flaky. I really enjoy the way she writes and her ethics, so I recommend her. http://www.patblocknd.com/ Go to Introduction (Begin Here) For MRT - check out http://www.patblocknd.com/Library/MT.pdf Regards, Summer McFarland 1.22 HEAL KIDS 1.224.325.5437 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ------------------------------------- Over fourteen years of organic search engine optimization, marketing and design. Guest guest
Muscle testing is very helpful - I use it mainly for supplements but also foods like nuts - since oftentimes they are sprayed with harmful stuff. If they don't muscle-test well we avoid them. MSG is sometimes listed as yeast extract, pea protein or hydrolyzed vegetable protein. It's found in a lot of Chinese ready-made sauces, instant ramen noodles, Korean foods, etc. I get numbness in my cheeks if I eat foods heavy in MSG so it does something to the nerves for those sensitive to it. Cheers, PJ > > Just wondering how many of you tried muscle testing? > > Thanks in advance...jake's mom >
Guest guest
I had this up and was reading it, well worth reading and one of the better articles I have seen; Toxic Additives in Your Food and Drink Not Just Another Scare Dr Russel Baylock I found this long, but excellent and very well written. In Part: " ...An enormous amount of both clinical and experimental evidence has accumulated over the past decade supporting this basic premise. Yet, the FDA still refuses to recognize the immediate and long term danger to the public caused by the practice of allowing various excitotoxins to be added to the food supply, such as MSG, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, and aspartame. The amount of these neurotoxins added to our food has increased enormously since their first introduction. For example, since 1948 the amount of MSG added to foods has doubled every decade. By 1972, 262,000 metric tons were being added to foods. Over 800 million pounds of aspartame have been consumed in various products since it was first approved. Ironically, these food additives have nothing to do with preserving food or protecting its integrity. They are all used to alter the taste of food. MSG, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, and natural flavoring are used to enhance the taste of food so that it tastes better. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener. The public must be made aware that these toxins (excitotoxins) are not present in just a few foods but rather in almost all processed foods... Guest guest
We go to a chiropractor that practices muscle testing and kinesiology. They are basically naturopath chiropractors. > > > > Just wondering how many of you tried muscle testing? > > > > Thanks in advance...jake' s mom > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I think the MSG connection is often overlooked with our kids. And keep in mind, MSG is in many vaccines, as well. Especially the flu shot most moms are told to get while pregnant. The MSG is not helping anyone. > > I had this up and was reading it, well worth reading and one of the better > articles I have seen; > > Toxic Additives in Your Food and Drink > Not Just Another Scare > Dr Russel Baylock > > I found this long, but excellent and very well written. > In Part: > " ...An enormous amount of both clinical and experimental evidence has > accumulated over the past decade supporting this basic premise.
