Guest guest
Just one other thought about this issue. My ds will enter middle school in 6 weeks, and the school's paperwork demanded that he get a " booster " for diptheria, tetanus, and pertussis. I would do whatever I had to to avoid giving him the diptheria and pertussis shots, but thought he might need the tetanus booster (I respect that others may disagree). So, I asked that his titers be tested for all three -- and the results show he has adequate antibodies to all. No medical need for the booster, and the pediatrician will sign a waiver to that effect. Might be a useful approach for some. Best,
