Guest guest
Glad you're doing o.k., Andie. I'm convinced that tai chi & qigong are marvelous for R.A. Sounds like you know how to take good care of yourself. Wishing you remission and radiant health! Guest guest
You're welcome :-) I picked up my cheap BB at Walmart for $59.97 and the squat rack I got on Craigs list for $90, I prefer to work out at home too and this is good enough for now. In fact, I think its easier to do this workout at home as you would probably have to wait for the equipment at a gym which could impact the flow. I also like the flexibility that working at home can give, I'll let you know how the course goes as I move through the modules. There is also a no-frills gym around here, that I have thought about joining - this way I could do a program like this using their weights. But, I do like my home workouts since I can do them whenever I want and not on any one else's schedule. Thanks for hte info on MT - it is something I had though about as an "option" in case my sweet deal at work ever goes away. It is really important for me to be home as much as possible with my DD. It is helpful that for now DH's schedule is such that he can pick her up from school on the days I work in the Office - but you never know when that may change. I also like the flexiblity of being able to go on field trips, help out at school, etc. Take care!Donna From: Berniquer <aberniquer (DOT) ca>Subject: Re: also a shout out to Carolyn, Sara, Geoff, and AndieDate: Saturday, February 20, 2010, 12:40 AM Hey ...I'm still here, reading all the posts LOL.....I've been doing the New Rules of Lifting for Women program and I'm currently on day 11 of stage 1. This is a really great program and I'm seeing some good strength gains, its a 6 month program and its actually the first time I've stuck with a program past the first week, I'm in week 3 now, and I'm really enjoying it. I still do the occasional DVD for cardio, but nothing other than that. I've also signed up and have started a Medical Transcription course which is taking quite a bit of time on top of working and exercising, so I don't get to visit every day any more. I plan on working from home when we eventually move to Vancouver Island to retire, so this course will allow me to gain experience and get my own business up and running. Life is just so darn busy.....I've also been watching the Olympics and cheering on our Canadian athletes.... ..I promise to say hi more often and give updates on NROLFW if there's an interest in it.....
