Guest guest
Thank you , that's what I was thinking. How much probiotics do you give? I'm giving around 100 billion now and I was thinking of doubling it? [ ] Re: CDSA/Staph/Flagyl??? HI We have had the same (consitantly testing high bad bacteria ) Actually what you listed isnt really really really bad so I would suggest trying naturals. While antibiotics can kill off the bad, it also kills off the good. Beneficial bacteria is really a better defense than antibiotics. It also takes a long time to build it back up. I dont see a reason to stop chelating Just my opinion, but I would keep going. We found relief of bad bacteria from lots of probiotics ( I'd stay clear of any strep strains)and using biofilm enzymes ( without EDTA ) such as Klaires Interfase or Kirkmans biofilm defense. You give on an empty stomache and follow 1/2 to an hour later with natural antimicrobials. We like Tanalbit and if tolerated OOO is good. There are many that can be useful. Its best to pick one or two and stick with it for a while if tolerated. I'd skip the Flagyl if it were me : ) Hope this helps > > > Hi all, > My son's stools test came showing staphylococcus aureus at 3+ non-pathogen. It also showed alpha haemoltyic streptococcus at 3+ non-pathogen. Our Dan! wants to treat these with Flagyl for a month and stop chelating in during that time. My question is can I use something else to kill off this bacteria(GSE,OLE,OoO?) and keep on chelating? Hair test shows that mercury is finally coming out and I really hate to stop. Also it seems to me that everytime we do this CDSA we have to treat bad bacteria with antibiotics and it's about every 6 months or so which isn't good either. How is my son's gut ever going to heal if I'm giving him antibiotics every 6 months. Please someone help me to figure out what to do. Is this bacteria so bad that I must use the Flagyl? Guest guest
I've been giving him 50 in the morning 1 hour before breakfast and 50 billion at bedtime. I never give it with food. I am using Klaire Labs therbiotic complete with strep in it so I guess I'd better toss that one and I also use the Klaire's Therbiotic Detox Support. I just ran out of it today but it's on order so I should have it late next week. I'll check into Custom probiotics...hope it doesn't have milk in it. Thank you so much for the info! Janet [ ] Re: CDSA/Staph/Flagyl??? Yes you can double it. Have you tried giving it right before bed on an empty stomache? We give 100 to 250 billion Custom probiotics powder and CP1. Depends..I seem to be able to get away with the smaller dose when I give at night. I think its hard to get it where it needs to go when given with food : ) > > > > > > Hi all, > > My son's stools test came showing staphylococcus aureus at 3+ non-pathogen. Guest guest
Do give probiotics on an empty stomach, I give to my DS when he is already tucked in bed..... 1 hour after dinner. Custom probiotics has an excellent product developed specially for our ASD kids: d-lactate free probiotic formulation. It contains 250 billion cfu's x gram of L. Salivarius, L.Rhamnosus, B.Bifidum and B.infantis. It is a pricey product, so I recommend before you order it, that you write giving details about your DS issues to: info@..., they are very helpful and kind. It has been a great product for my kid. Guest guest
You will get fluoride poisoning taking Flagyl, I did. It is loaded with dangerous deadly fluoride. I got so deathly sick on that stuff. I would never ever take it again. Mia > > > > > Hi all, > > > > > My son's stools test came showing staphylococcus aureus at 3+ > > non-pathogen. Guest guest
I was looking at Klaire Labs Interfase and I noticed that it has egg whites in it. My son's IgG showed 1+ to egg whites. The test is from last September and he hasn't had any eggs. Should I try it or should I look for something else? Is there something else I could use in place of Interfase? Guest guest
I don't care much for kirkman's either but I really can't find anything else to use. I'm new to the biofilm thingy so I'm kind of at a loss as to what to look for. I'm not sure that Virastop would do the job. I may just go for the biofilm defense. Janet [ ] Re: CDSA/Staph/Flagyl??? You could check out kirkmans biofilm defense..Im not a big fan of Kirkman but this product we did use initially. Dont know if it has egg whites.I also think Virastop has the serra and natto ingredients in it..so this may be an option as well..I never compared them more than that but you could check it out. > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > My son's stools test came showing staphylococcus aureus at 3+ non-pathogen. Guest guest
Hi, I'm taking Interfase and my IgE/IgA test showed an extreme allergy to egg whites. I scored a 1355, with anything over a 345 being significant. I was over a year plus on SCD when I started the Interfase, which may have reduced my food allergies and hence the no reaction to the lysozyme, but I still have trouble eating plain eggs, and only eat them in the occassional baked good. But I can tolerate the Interfase just fine. I certainly wouldn't use the product if your son has any kind of anaphylactic reaction to eggs. Just to note, at the time I did my allergy test, I was having what I think is an anaphylactic reaction to eggs (they'd give me instant diarrhea). I was trying to start enzymes at that time, and was taking a different Klaire lab enzymes product that also had the lysozyme derived from egg white. It may have given me some form of allergic reaction, as I was so sick that I couldn't tell which way was up, and I may have also had die-off from the enzymes, but it any reaction was much, much less severe than eggs, as the enzyme was not giving me diarrhea. I'm combining the Interfase with SPS-30 and PRX, along with normal digestive enzymes with meals, with really positive results. The SPS-30 and PRX, as far as I know, don't have any egg products whatsoever. It's a pity that Klaire doesn't do samples like Houston does, because I'd suggest a trial run. Good luck, Ellen > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > My son's stools test came showing staphylococcus aureus at 3+ non-pathogen. It also showed alpha haemoltyic streptococcus at 3+ non-pathogen.
