Guest guest
> Hi everyone need your advice here. We got to round 7 with ALA this past weekend and on sunday morning upon waking up my son proceeded to have an itchy butt, for the next hour I had to wipe his butt with wet wipes, he did this on two other occasions about 20 min after a dose but after ten min its was gone. I also did not give him additional doses because I was unsure on how to proceed. I ordered GSE but since he has stop itching should I not give it to him when it arrives or should I wait till its starts itching again? Was it really yeast? I would give him one drop GSE and see if that helps keep the itching away. Just because the itching stopped, does not mean all the yeast is gone, it just means the yeast is not causing him to be itchy. Dana
Guest guest
There was a full moon on Saturday night. Itchy butt on the full moon if most definitely parasites. > > Hi everyone need your advice here. Guest guest
Could it be parasite issues, such as pinworms? This past weekend was the full moon, which is often when parasites cause symptoms (due to their reproductive cycle, I've read). Pinworms caused my son to itch his butt. Depending on how well he sleeps, you can check his bottom at night for white strands or just treat. We used Vermox to clear it up. Thorough washing of bedding in hot water is also a good idea. Guest guest
Thanks so much! This post helped me identify itch problem my daughter is having. She has itchy back and butt during this time of the month. Her absence seizures increase in frequency too.... I have ordered Humaworm's one month parasite treatment. Would that be good enough? Thank you! Shruti (mother of three and 1/2 yrs old girl) > > > > Hi everyone need your advice here. Guest guest
Itchy butt DEFINITELY parasites for my son! He even had the red ring around his anus that led us in the wrong direction of treating yeast for 6 months before we actually saw a pinworm in his pull-up. Poor kid. Our itching did not follow any type of cycle; it was constant. At least it was that way at the end when the infestation was bad. I used a prescription medication, if you are interested. Vermox (mebendazole). Worked very well (3 pills) without any negatives. Pam > > > > > > Hi everyone need your advice here. Guest guest
Good point, I do remember hearing that before. Had a friend who dewormed her horse the natural way and had excellent (gross) results. Pretty amazing. > > > > Hi everyone need your advice here. Guest guest
Remember if it is parasites that if one in the family has it than most likely all others do well. Prudent to treat all one time than one over and over, you get the point. Theodora > > > > > > Hi everyone need your advice here. Guest guest
Parasite eggs hatch around the full moon. Crazy symptoms around the full moon, itchy anus and laughing at night with the full moon are all symptoms of parasites. In adult women not talking birth control pills, mestruating with the full moon (instead of ovulating) is a symptom of parasites as well. Caryn > > > > > > Hi everyone need your advice here. Guest guest
This is going to sound really gross but my son also has an itchy butt. Not only does he scratch at it but he often will take his finger and touch his anus and then lick it (I told you it was gross). Any thoughts? Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your input. I will check for parasite as directed, how long would it take to detect? If I don't see it one night how many night should I check. And if he does have it what natural way did you get rid of it? (he does not take pills) I will try the GSE any ways because I think yeast is the culprit. I think Dana said try one drop, anyone know how many times a day that is. Thanks again. Guest guest
Are you guys saying you can actually go into your child's room and night and check their bottom for parasites??? Guest guest
take a flashlight! Yup. go in and spread those cute little butt cheeks and check for activity. You can get a collection kit from your MD which is basically a sticky popsicle stick. It can be difficult to capture, but maybe if you follow the full moon logic you will have a better chance?
