Guest guest
I don't know why, or if there is a relation, but I can tell you my son did not have a single cavity until we started chelation. Kerrie
Guest guest
Maybe the child is in need of calcium supplements, or as in the case of my son he had 4 cavities, 2 teeth were pulled and it had nothing to do with chelation, though we have been chelating for 6 months, it is dental fluorosis in his case. Our water is fluoridated and his school set up a tooth brushing program without our knowledge or consent and used fluoridated toothpaste. My mother had fluoride treatments as a child and her teeth all rotted out so it runs in my family. We bought special filters and will not allow the school to brush his teeth anymore- we haven't had a cavity since.
Guest guest
Why do you make this association? I have never heard of this, I do not think there is any relation to doing chelation. > > Does anyone know why a child would get cavities.. so severe during Chelation ? I had to stop Chelation because of the tooth decay. >
Guest guest
Are you supplementing any minerals? What are you taking/giving? The body, when able, constantly re-mineralizes the teeth (rebuilds the teeth) unless you are eroding the teeth faster than it could keep up or you don't have adequate minerals (are your calcium and magnesium levels ok?). Are you using a fluoride toothpaste that is preventing remineralization? (That's really secondary.) Guest guest
Hi, I think that is due to calcium deficiency during chelation. Guest guest
> Does anyone know why a child would get cavities.. so severe during Chelation ? I had to stop Chelation because of the tooth decay. A few years ago, on another list, a parent noticed this problem. She learned that the chelator was pulling lead, which was coming out of her child's teeth, and she needed to give calcium and a few other things to replace the lead that was leaving. Guest guest
They have just fluoride filters you can google them, but we have a reverse osmosis water filtration system from wateranywhere.com and a special filtered water cooler from zero water.
