Very encouraging to read some stories of those who have recently started to

chelate love to hear back from some parents who have older kids or those who

have #150-300 rounds under their belt. Perhaps share some of your experience to

hold on to as we continue to chelate. We have been hopeful and holding on this a

long time. Right now we have been in a stall for over a year.

Those of you who have older kids and been chelation for a while can you share

your stall experience and did you know if you are still making gains. Thanks

for sharing anything that may be encouraging .

right now not sure what else we should be doing but we will continue to plug

away. However we are going to focus on Adrenal stress issues to see if that

helps. But what should we be looking for as we continue to chelate without

noticeable changes?

Btw as far as hair tests at #40 rounds and after #90 rounds he no longer meets

the counting rules. In fact all of his essential elements are quite impressive.

thanks again

Back round

We started to chelate consistently when my child was 6.5 using Andy's protocol.

My Son turned 12 this March. We started slow and worked up to ½ mg per pound

DMSA/ ALA .We chelated up over #160 rounds now. My son has made huge gains

(too many to list). However many of them were within the first 40-70- rounds.

Then we hit a long lasting stall from rounds #70-100, but of course keep

plugging away.

At first stall during that time we took a chelation break and introduced a

few antiviral protocols to see if he was a responder. Mostly rule out any viral

component that may been underneath. He did not respond to antiviral positive or

negatively during the trials.

Thereafter is been so hard to tell whats-what?? Way back when… he was making

progress w/ every round- every 3-5 rounds pretty much till we hit the stall Now

its been well over 90 rounds since initial stall and more than a year has

gone by. Again we hit all our major miles stones when we first started to

chelate, Speech potty training, imaginary play, reasoning etc. Today my son is

bright smart, funny boy. He is academically at age level, social when he wants

to be. Great kid but He would still be considered autistic. No more stimms

still scripts some. Prompting is needed allot to get him moving. Mostly doing

what he wants to do even when he knows the consequences.

We have been through stalls, also. Usually when our son is going through a

growth spurt, or when the metals are stuck in deeper tissue, it takes a long

time, but when they start to come out progress quickly follows.

Haven't been here in a while. My son is 10.5 now; we started Cutler's protocol

when he just turned 7 and are into round 175. We have seen several gains with

chelation, and a few stall periods too. Some rounds the improvements are not

noticeable. But if I take a benchmark and compare to how he was 6 months ago, I

see improvements in more or less all areas. We are about half-way through. We

still have major issues (perhaps related to lead than mercury, b/c lead takes a

long time to come out).

I'm hoping to write about his progress soon.
