Guest guest
We are just finishing up our second round of chelation for our son (we are only doing 6mg DMSA for a 40 lbs child). He does fine until the last day - then more wild, uncontrollable, oppositional defiant, " difficult " . Also this time on the last day he is really complaining that his tummy hurts him and he has stinky gas. He has said he has felt " sick " (tummy hurts) the last half of the day. Is this all yeast? He is a gut kid. He is on diflucan, he is SCD, we do probiotics, biotin 15000 mcg 2x/day. During this period I give caprylic acid (which did seem to help) and today I tried a garlic/parsley cap (don't think this helped). Anything else I should be doing for him? He doesn't react well to GSE. Oxalates are a problem - I know the parsley was not a good idea... Also, is this pretty " normal " to what people see with this protocol? Not good the last day or more and then when the round is over he quickly returns to his " normal " self?
