Guest guest
Pam, Please post your Enhansa experience when you see a change (good or bad) or if you see no change.I'm debating with my husband on whether or not to try it on our son and another data point would be helpful. Thanks! Elise in San > > Speech for us has been jumpstarted first with Essential Fatty Acids (Nordic Naturals ProEFA, to be exact) back when he was 3 yrs. The next boost was with a product called Methyl-Guard (TMG, P5P, folate and mB12)at age 5 and then an anti-viral course (Lysine and Olive Leaf Extract) within the next year. All of these led to immediate and noticeable improvements in pronunciation, sentence length/structure and back/forth conversation. > > I actually went out and ordered some Enhansa last week after reading this post. Guest guest
Day #3 at 150mg capsule without any sign of die-off. Is that a good sign or a bad sign? I never know if die-off indicates you'll be getting the good later? I plan on jumping up to 300 mgs in 2 days if I see nothing bad. I'll let everyone know. Guest guest
Hey Pam -- We never really saw die off either (really haven't seen it with any supp like your kiddo too). We're still holding strong at 600 mgs. My daughter read ME the bedtime story tonight (2 total). This is a book I have been reading to her nightly for the past couple months so she certainly has it memorized...BUT...tonight for the first time she wanted to read it to me. (She said " want to read it? " ). Then pointed to each word (every other page is cursive -- the books are " When I was Little -- a 4 year old's memoir of her youth " and " I'm gonna like me " both books in a compliation from Lee Curtis. Anyway...she knows them by heart but I still knew she was actually reading because she pointed to each word as she said it and paused on ones she didn't know. She normally goes to bed earlier but I thought it was well worth it to stay up an extra 15 minutes to hear her slowly read it. Will be ordering more Enhansa today. Still not sure if that's it but I'm afraid not to keep it up. > > > > > > Speech for us has been jumpstarted first with Essential Fatty Acids (Nordic Naturals ProEFA, to be exact) back when he was 3 yrs. Guest guest
Well, we have had 3 good language days! It is spring break so the anxiety of school isn't there, but I've noticed he hasn't started a sentence, got stuck on word retrieval and said " wait " before starting over... cross your finger that the trend continues! Thanks for your story. Pam > > > > > > > > Speech for us has been jumpstarted first with Essential Fatty Acids (Nordic Naturals ProEFA, to be exact) back when he was 3 yrs.
