Guest guest
> For the last week my DD has had poop that is the consistency and color of runny peanut butter, and one day I saw mucous in it (sorry!)..Also she goes 3x per day now...whereas before it was once a day... Yeast or food issues. > Second thing I thought was she started MB12 shots, 1 every 3 days. Starting approximately 10/23 (She had shot # 6 yesterday). Also could it be yeast die off from these shots, B12 tends to increase yeast. So it would more likely be yeast overgrowth, rather than die off. > 3rd thing I thought is that I havent been giving her as many enzymes per day as I had been giving in the past. I was giving her 5 per day, now its usually 2. This is also a possibility. > She's also on glutathione (powder form-Pro-Immune) not sure if taking this for 2+ months would cause it? This can also increase yeast. > We are beginning chelation this weekend..I was hoping to figure it out before then-that way I would know if the DMSA was giving her any reaction...should I expect to see similar symptoms then as well-abnd would it be yeast if so? DMSA will also usually increase yeast. Dana
Guest guest
Thank you very much Dana.... do you have one protocol you recommend over another, or am I better off just giving a couple of things a try I've read about on your site? > > For the last week my DD has had poop that is the consistency and color of runny peanut butter, and one day I saw mucous in it (sorry!)..Also she goes 3x per day now...whereas before it was once a day... > > > Yeast or food issues. > > > > Second thing I thought was she started MB12 shots, 1 every 3 days. What worked best for yeast at my house was the combination of biotin and GSE. That might not work best at your house tho http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Dana
Guest guest
Does anyone here use Sac B to fight yeast and Clostridia? Guest guest
Not clostridia, but Pseudomonas aeruginosa and e.coli. Its helped along with Culturelle. I do know some that have used Sacc b for clostridia with good results. Guest guest
For us, frequent (2X-3X/day) runny/soft and smelly stools was bacteria issues. Yeast causes constipation here. We treated bacteria with lots of probiotics (maybe the ineffective probiotics gave bacteria room to grow?), Sac Boulardii, and coconut oil. Many people give anti-bacterials or anti-biotics for this as well although we never did. > > Hi all..TMI POOP QUESTION COMING! > For the last week my DD has had poop that is the consistency and color of runny peanut butter, and one day I saw mucous in it (sorry!)..Also she goes 3x per day now...whereas before it was once a day... > Now, these are the things I think it COULD be, if anyone can confirm for me that these things are possibly the cause..I would appreciate it! > First thing I thought was that I accidentally left her refrigerated Klaire Labs probiotic on the counter for several hours....(I replaced it 2 days ago with a fresh bottle and tossed the other one)..but her poop hasn't been firm since the new one was reintroduced.. > Second thing I thought was she started MB12 shots, 1 every 3 days. Guest guest
Although I like that Sacch B makes my son's stool brown and well formed, it brings on such horific yeast symptoms just like an overgrowth. He starts chewing things, licking his hands, actually wild/silly, staying up late and laughing in his sleep. Guest guest
Is it a die off reaction? Showing that it is working? He starts chewing things, licking his hands, actually wild/silly, staying up late and laughing in his sleep. This was my experience with good-bacteria probiotics [saccB is a good-yeast probiotic]. They were helpful to some extent, but after a week or so, they began causing bad-bacteria symptoms. Dana
