I have suffered with Migranes my whole like.  I finally figured it out, it is

around food allergies/hydration.  For me it was around things that dehydrated

me, plane rides, days at beach, caffine, lack of sleep etc...  If i eat one

activa yogurt a day and drink water instead of soda and minimize caffine...I am

good.  The probiotics(live culture) increases the bodies ability to absorb

water which helps with dehyration/headaches.  Simple formula for life long

misery..but am glad I finally found it.

I hope this helps

Migrains: test for delayed food allergies, test thyroid. My migraines are

greatly helped by a chiropractor but aggravated by low thyroid.

They can very much be food related in most people though.

dyslexia is very connected... as in mercury poisoning. Hair tests for both kids.

Especially if they are vaccinated kids. Did they by chance get flu shots this

fall?

and nephew.  My niece is 7 years old and has just started having

migraines/throwing up.  My older sister (her mom) has suffered from migraines

since she was a young teenager and has reached the point where she takes a

preventative medicine that basically knocks her out every night. -- so I know

there's a genetic component, but wonder if something environmental could be

going on as well?

school (he's 1.5 years behind where he should be) and my sister thinks he may

have dyslexia.  I'm not sure how connected any of this is to autism/ADD/ADHD/

etc, but wanted to throw it out there in case anyone can offer any lab tests,

supplements, other testing/treatments that may be helpful in getting to the

underlying issues of what's causing these issues.

on....I'm hoping I can help them in some way.

Thanks, Jan.  Yes, both kids are fully vaccinated and receive flu shots each

year.  I actually raised the issue about the H1N1 vaccine b/c my niece's

migraines started around then, but my sister and brother-in-law said they

started a few weeks before the shot.

I think my nephew has been having trouble for a couple years now in school and

it's coming to a head now b/c he's getting so behind.  They also  both still

wear pull-ups to bed at night b/c they still wet the bed.  That to me says

their kidneys are working over time and there's some sort of toxic or acidic

issue going on, but many people in my family don't quite " get it " like I wish

they did.

Food allergies and thyroid are great ideas.  I'll try to see if I can convince

them to do some heavy metal testing as well.  Thank you!

Mercury and Fluoride were the biggest contributors, imo, to my daughters

Migraine issues. elizabeth
