Hi all, I'd like to hear from those on this group that chelated their older

kids successfully

and what types of gains did you see as well as side effects, if any?

Also, which did you use ALA, DMSA or both?

Thank you,

Kathy

Not sure what you consider " older " . I've been chelating mine since age 9.

Former doctor wanted to r/x Concerta and Zoloft for him. Inattention, emotional

mood swings, anxiety and OCD were issues. He also reacted strongly to

phenol/salicylate foods.

After around 40+ rounds (I lost count but we do 1-2 rounds a month max), he is

cheerful and often humorous. He has made a lot more friends. His grades have

improved nicely; he does his homework independently on time and tries to do

extra projects when he likes the topic. He started competitive sports a year

ago whereas before he was terrified to compete. He isn't afraid of stressful

situations anymore. School counselor closed the file on him since no special

support required. He doesn't require any special diet now, though we were

nearly GFCF for the first year.

Cutler chelation has been the key thing. He had lead so we did DMSA and later

DMSA/ALA, currently at 25mg DMSA and 16mg ALA. We have also found classical

constitutional homeopathy helpful and occasionally anti-viral or anti-microbials

(l-lysine, OLE, Nutramedix herbals). We did a Zyto scan to determine which

herbals to use. I learned muscle testing and use it all the time to select

supplements.

My gratitude and thanks to Andy for his amazing protocol, books and generous

sharing of wisdom which has helped our family so much.
