Guest guest
Has anyone here used something as a filler (i.e. rice powder or similar) as a " filling agent " while creating capsules for chelation? I have a capsule filling device that would allow me to very easily pre-fill 50 capsules at once but would need to 'stretch' the amount of physical content of chelator to the total physical volume of space needed to fill all 50 capsules evenly. Just thought I'd ask because splitting raw capsule ingredients and having to fill a new capsule up only 1/10th of the way is painstaking. Thanks, -Darius Cross-post: FDC
Guest guest
yes, you can use any supplement as a filler. We use vitamin C and magnesium. Guest guest
Andy says to use " edible substance " . Something organic would be good. Something you want to give them anyway like fiber. We give our boys organic acacia fiber in their drinks. Guest guest
Thanks for the replies Jan and TJ, but I should have also asked what you have found to be the best means to mix these contents up to attempt to ensure as even a distribution of ingredients being that DMSA weighs less (likely) than say fiber, or Vitamin C, etc... Thanks! -Darius > > Has anyone here used something as a filler (i.e. rice powder or similar) as a " filling agent " while creating capsules for chelation? > > I have a capsule filling device that would allow me to very easily pre-fill 50 capsules at once but would need to 'stretch' the amount of physical content of chelator to the total physical volume of space needed to fill all 50 capsules evenly. > > Just thought I'd ask because splitting raw capsule ingredients and having to fill a new capsule up only 1/10th of the way is painstaking. > > Thanks, > -Darius > > Cross-post: FDC >

Guest guest
Hey Darius, I found the following couple of excerpts just by putting " capsule " and " filler " in the search for archives of this group....lots of info... " I also buy Noni extract powder 8:1 from purebulk.com, to pre-mix with the ALA and DMSA to act as a filler when making up the chelation capsules, as this makes it easier to fill, as the ALA and DMSA by themselves aren't enough to fill the capsules to the top. " " What I don't know is for how many days it will be stable inside capsules filled with 90% sodium ascorbate and 10% ascorbic acid, which is what I use as a filler. The 10% of ascorbic acid was a suggestion from Cutler to make more stable DMSA and maybe it is no longer necessary for ALA only. I prepare capsules for each two days and probably I would like to prepare for more if I were sure it is a good idea. " Good luck, > > > > > > > > Has anyone here used something as a filler (i.e. rice powder or similar) as a " filling agent " while creating capsules for chelation? > > > > > > > > I have a capsule filling device that would allow me to very easily pre-fill 50 capsules at once but would need to 'stretch' the amount of physical content of chelator to the total physical volume of space needed to fill all 50 capsules evenly. > > > > > > > > Just thought I'd ask because splitting raw capsule ingredients and having to fill a new capsule up only 1/10th of the way is painstaking. > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > -Darius > > > > > > > > Cross-post: FDC > > > > > > > > > >
