Guest guest
One thing I wished I had done is have a doctors note on the supplements so you can take them on the airplane. Some contain liquids and Im not sure if that is included in fluid oz. quota. I know you won't have any problem with a doctors note for food and supplements required. This is what the airline told me at the airport. ________________________________ From: Arthi Nagaraj <arthi.nagaraj@...> gfcfkids <GFCFKids >; autism treatment Sent: Tue, July 13, 2010 9:32:23 AM Subject: [ ] Travel out of the country - what about Supps? Hi, I need some advice. I am planning to travel out of the country with my son and need to take his probiotics and B12 shots with me, apart from Super nu thera and the fish oil. Can I just put these in the chk in baggage with refrigerants? Any precuations to take? Has anyone else carried their supps out of country and any advice? Do I need a letter from my doc for these supps? So many questions - I am sorry. Kinda freaked out, and dont know what to do. Thanks, Arthi --
Guest guest
Thanks Laurie. I just assumed I can carry food on the flight. But I am going to confirm with the airlines. Thanks for the tip. I also just contacted his doc for a note. I dont plan to carry supps in the carry on baggage. But I am not sure what it means to carry MB12 in the check in baggage. Will security freak out seeing shots in my baggage (thro xray) Does passing through xray affect the MB12 and probiotics? Guest guest
even though you have to go through xray with carry on ....if you have the doctors note they will allow it. I would carry it on....no different than insulin shots for a diabetic. Its a need for your child that is excused by a doctor. Hope this helps! ________________________________ From: Arthi Nagaraj <arthi.nagaraj@...> Sent: Tue, July 13, 2010 11:27:30 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Travel out of the country - what about Supps?
