Guest guest
I see a common issue with autistics detoxing/recovering and that involves pain and inflammation of the tongue, mouth, inner-cheeks, lips, gums, and it can even extant back in to the throat and vocal chords. I'd like to get to the bottom of this, for all of our sakes, mine included. I've had laryngitis for the past month and I hope my voice comes back. My tongue has been sore even longer. My inner-cheeks feel weird. My lips are inflamed. It spread to my gums last night, & now they are very puffy, red & shrunken. My throat is often sore, and I often cough up thick chunks. So what's the deal guys? This all started around the time I started taking EDTA & then ALA, and later I started on all the other supplements in hopes that it would improve things, but the inflammation area has only spread further. What nutrient is my body lacking? What test can I order online to find out, that is the best bargain? Is this inflammation not really a problem? Is it the body just healing itself? Is it Herring's law of cure in action? Herrings Law of Cure " the cure is from above downwards, from within outwards, from major organs to minor organs, and symptoms will disappear in reverse order to their appearance (i.e. the first symptoms to appear will be the last to go) Above downwards, that makes sense, since I have dandruff and my mouth is high up. The throat is deep within & it was the first to go. According to this law, if this is what's REALLY going on, a true holistic cure, I'll probably have this throat/mouth problem for a long time, until the rest of my body heals everything else as well. I used to get a lot of dandruff when I was younger. My gums used to be very inflamed when I had braces, as well as my cheeks... I have lost my voice once before. My lungs have been in the worst shape since working at the cotton factory... Perhaps my body finally has enough antioxidants & healing-factors in it, so that it can finally clean house, in which case, I do not want to discontinue the suppliments, HOWERVER, I do wonder about the possibility of a nutrient/mineral deficiency that might make my teeth fall out during all of this. I'm wondering if it's better to disinfect my entire mouth when I brush my teeth with MMS, or let the germs do their thing, ala Behcamp's theory. So, the main thing I'm looking for is a relatively inexpensive way to do a check on my blood & test for nutrients... If you know of a good lab I can send this to & what the procedure is called, perhaps some sort of assay, let me know & I'll see what I can find out. Also, if anyone has heard of a way to " fix " this mouth issue, let do share. > > My two year old who is on GFCF diet indicates that he is feeling pain in his > lips and mouth. Too much vitamin A, or deficiency in certain B vitamins, amino acids, and selenium can cause this. Dana
Guest guest
I'll get some Lews Labs brewer's yeast which should cover the B's & selenium, & cod LIver oil for the fat-soluble vitamins that feed the teeth & gums & see if that helps. Cod liver oil is a recommended one anyway. I wonder if most people with the mouth issues are taking cod liver oil. > > My two year old who is on GFCF diet indicates that he is feeling pain in his > > lips and mouth.
