I recently heard that elevated blood glucose can be actually due to yeast - and

not related to a pre-diabetes condition.

Last July, chelation brought 10 pounds to my son *overnight*. He has continued

to gain weight. His blood glucose is a bit elevated.

I'm wondering if his 10 pounds are actually due to yeast and if this continued

weight gain could be due to yeast as well.

He has gone from being a healthy-looking slim kid, wearing slim sized pants - to

now wearing husky :( He feels really bad about it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Usually its the opposite. High blood sugar often causes yeast infections.

Diabetes runs on both sides of my family and Ive had family members experience

this when they werent keeping thier blood sugar under control. A yeast infection

would be more likely to cause low blood sugar and weight gain.

Do you have a family history of diabetes? Does your son have any other symptoms

beyond the elevated blood sugar (weight gain isnt a symptom usually associated

with diabetes, weight loss is), ie excessive thirst and urination, fatigue,

blurred vision, etc?

I would get the testing done to rule diabetes out.
