Guest guest
Hy lynn, I need to treat for MMR injury too, so, your observations are important to me. What kind of voit A are u giving? My only doubt about doing this is what I have read about kids who've done this intervention and afterwards are very sensitive to vit A not tolerating even minimal dosis since they become toxic. My kid needs a good amount of fermented CLO, so would that, in case of sensitivity, mean no more CLO in the future? That would not be favorable for us here.... Mmmhh there is a good risk/benefit analysis to be done here. Can someone chime in? I wish this intervention to be a success for your kiddo, pls post again about your observations on day 2 and what u see afterwards. Good luck! Isa Enviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de Telcel [ ] high dose VITAMIN A update & question Hello, This morning at 8am I gave my son 400,000IU of vit a. I noticed positive changes in eye contact, speech, & socialization within three hours. My son's tipping point was after his MMR, so I was hoping that this therapy would be good for him. And so far, it's going well. Other positive changes that I noticed -- no perseveration -- at all!! Also, he is usually constantly hungry. Today he did not ask once for food. At 6pm he had a formed BM, and at 7pm, he had a very toxic crazy looking type of diarrhea BM after his epsom salt bath. While putting him to bed, at 8pm, he told me that at the park (which was around 3pm), he started to get a very " scratchy " throat. I then checked his head a noticed that he had an ever so mild low grade fever. He does not seem uncomfortable, and went to bed like an angel (sometimes, he'll toss and turn and it'll take about 20 minutes to settle down). But tonight he went to sleep right away. I usually lay in bed w/ him for 5 minutes while he falls asleep, and tonight, I noticed that he seemed a bit congested, too. He is the type of kid that never gets sick -- ever. Which I know isn't a good thing. But the timing of the congestion and the low grade fever are interesting to me. We have also been giving him LDN for the past 16 weeks, so perhaps his immune system is finally starting to wake up. I'll continue with another 400,000IU's tomorrow, but what should the maintenance dose be on day 3?? Is the maintenance dose " forever " ? From what I've read, I can repeat the high dose of 400,000IU's in 6 months, yes?? He is 5 yrs. old, 40 pounds. and also receives 3,750 IU's of vit a in his CLO every day. Would a maintenance dose be 20,000IU, plus the 3,750IU's from CLO?? Too much? Too little?? Any input would be great -- thank you!!

Guest guest
Hi Isa. I used mycelized vit a from kirkman. we, too, use fermented CLO. I've also read about possible sensitivity to vit a after the high dose protocol. But I've also read that many still do tolerate it. So I'm going to wait and see. Thus far, any of our " WOW " interventions have frightened me, at first, but ultimately, I'm glad that I did them (MB12, Valtrex, etc.,) Our next " big " intervention will be chelation, since from what I understand, the viruses can never really be gone until be chelate. I'll keep you posted!! Good luck to you! Guest guest
> I'll continue with another 400,000IU's tomorrow, but what should the > maintenance dose be on day 3?? According to Dr. McCandless, 10,000 - 25, 000 IU per day for maintenance. Your child may need less. >>Is the maintenance dose " forever " ? Not for my son. Once the measles virus was gone [which took two high dose protocols], I was then unable to give him any supplemental vitamin A. >>From > what I've read, I can repeat the high dose of 400,000IU's in 6 months, yes?? Possibly, but that might be a good thing, because it might mean that he no longer need supplemental vitamin A. Or, if he is just needing the Omega 3 from the CLO, you can just give him fish oil instead, and he will still get what he needs without the vitamin A. Guest guest
We have been doing 25,000 iu of vit A (pure encapsulations) every 3 days as maintenance for six months now. This along with the acetyl L carnatine I think is responsible for my son now asking questions. We worked on this and prayed for this for years, he is now 10. He is killing me with all the questions but I LOVE it. deborah > > > > > I understand the maintenance dose is 2500 IUs per day > > > > > > > > Vit A is toxic that is why the protocol is only 2 days > > > > > > > > Glad to hear your report, as we are doing this next week > > > > > > > > Best wishes > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: lynnlevrington@... > > Date: Sun, 25 Jul 2010 20:27:36 -0400 > > Subject: [ ] high dose VITAMIN A update & question > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello, > > > > This morning at 8am I gave my son 400,000IU of vit a. Guest guest
I think I am going to try 4 drops of vit a (20,000IU's), plus the 3,740IU's that he gets in his CLO for maintenance. We use mycelized a from kirkman. The pure encapsulation's vitamin a has soy, and my son does not tolerate soy. I'll post this evening about his progress from today. Guest guest
will take note on this, thank u Dana, :-). Isa Enviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de Telcel [ ] Re: high dose VITAMIN A update & question > My only doubt about doing this is what I have read about kids who've done this intervention and afterwards are very sensitive to vit A not tolerating even minimal dosis since they become toxic. This was my son, because once the measles virus was gone and his vitamin A levels were normalized, giving him more vitamin A caused him to reach toxicity. >>My kid needs a good amount of fermented CLO, so would that, in case of sensitivity, mean no more CLO in the future? Possibly, but that might be a good thing, because it might mean that he no longer need supplemental vitamin A. Or, if he is just needing the Omega 3 from the CLO, you can just give him fish oil instead, and he will still get what he needs without the vitamin A. Guest guest
> How would I know if my son doesn't need the vitamin a anymore > Is there a test I am sure there is a test. For my son, I knew he no longer needed vitamin A because if I gave him one drop of CLO [probably 100 IU], that was all he needed to reach toxicity. Plus his visual stims came back, and he had several other regressions. Dana
Guest guest
Dana, Did he get rashes anywhere, like back of upper arm , upper back of the bodo(between two shoulders)? I am trying to find where and how does a HIGH vitamin A rash look like? My son has high Retinol(vitamin A) only from veges(carrot) and seems to be not processing them well, any suggestions? Thanks, Sasmita > > How would I know if my son doesn't need the vitamin a anymore > > Is there a test > > > I am sure there is a test. > > For my son, I knew he no longer needed vitamin A because if I gave him one drop of CLO [probably 100 IU], that was all he needed to reach toxicity. Guest guest
> Dana, > Did he get rashes anywhere, like back of upper arm , upper back of the bodo(between two shoulders)? Rash on the back of upper arm was keratitis pilaris here, which I eliminated with carotene conversion supps. > I am trying to find where and how does a HIGH vitamin A rash look like? For my son, vitamin A toxicity rash looked like a piece of fine sandpaper glued to the top of the skin on my son's thighs. Red, raised, rough, very itchy rash. The rash can also appear as a " dirty neckline " . > My son has high Retinol(vitamin A) only from veges(carrot) and seems to be not processing them well, any suggestions? My son did not correctly process carotenes until I corrected his thyroid issue. I used selenium, iodine, and tyrosine for that. Carotene conversion also requires zinc and vitamin C.
