Guest guest
Hello, Copra oil is coconut oil. Copra is an indian name for coconut. And yes, coconut oil is good for yeast treatment as well. Guest guest
Hi, Copra in spanish is the final product of the coconut flesh putting to the sun to dry, you can make your own copra by putting the coconut flesh to sundry for about a week, it will get kind of rubbery and very oily with a very specific and sweet smell, when you hold the copra (dry coconut flesh) it will cover your hand with oil, just be careful to not letting it dry for too long or it'll become rancid. When we were kids (my sibblings and I) used to visit my grandmothers " huerta " coconut field, and we would eat lots of copra, never had any problem with parasites, yeast or skin issues. Guest guest
I thought coconut oil products made from copra was the cheap stuff... the refined, bleached and deodorized oils (because copra is often unsanitary). You won't get the same benefits, plus I think this oil is partially hydrogenated (trans fats). Virgin coconut oil is what you should look for in quality oil; it is made form non-copra/fresh coconut meat. I don't think copra itself is bad for you, just the end result oil that is mass produced. Making it yourself is a nice idea.
