Hi

does anyone know what constantly biting clothes mean? My son does that a

lot. Sometimes his clothes (T-shirt colar or sleeves and sometimes his hat)

are dripping wet with saliva.

Thanks

Chris

I think it's called PANDAS. Sometimes it can be a mineral defficiency, but more

than likely caused by mercury toxicity.

The mercury deranges mineral transport in the body.

Yes, PANDAS is just another cover-up name for mercury poisoning.

Sometimes zinc deficiency, sometimes yeast overgrowth. At my house, yeast

overgrowth.

My son does this as well. I think it is yeast. I have treating the yeast but he

is still doing it , so I can't say for sure.

PANDAS is a strep syndrome, the most common symptom of which is OCD. I suppose

it could be an OCD symptom, altho my strep kids did not chew shirts as part of

their PANDAS manifestation.

Most of the time, when I read messages about shirt chewing, it was resolved by

other parents either by giving or increasing zinc, or by increasing the yeast

protocol. It was yeast at my house.

If you suspect strep, I eliminated strep here with OLE.

For us, chewing things (including clothing) is zinc deficiency. It comes and

goes as we are chelating and it seems my son's zinc needs go up at certain

times. I just give extra for maybe a week and the chewing goes away.

I know you are not writing to me, but I just wanted to put my two cents in here

from experience. I suggest that you focus less on the names people give to the

symptoms and more on what permanently gets rid of the symptoms. My sons had

symptoms of " PANDAS " , but those symptoms (OCD, tics) left with chelation. If

you start treating strep with antibiotics, I think you will be sorry you did.

In my research I have learned this:

The bacteria (strep, pseudomonas, etc.) overgrow because of the mineral

derangement CAUSED BY METALS. They feed on the misplaced calcium, magnesium and

iron in our kids' bodies. This means that you will never be able to bring about

balance by JUST using antibiotics, you have to correct the mineral derangment

and that means chelating. Usually if you just chelate, these problems start to

resolve themselves. Some people here choose to treat them while chelating.

I hope that helps you understand why Andy's protocol works and why people get

away with confusing parents saying all kinds of other things cause autism when

in real life those other infestations are just results of metals poisoning.

It may not be related to autism. I used to chew on my clothes when I was six. It

activated my saliva and made it seem juicy.

I finally decided it was a disgusting habit, so I quit--probably after my sister

and parents threatened not to iron my clothes anymore.

Try substituting gum.

Hi, my theory is that these kids chew from the heavy metals from the

vaccines, mainly mercury... When we started chelation , my son immediately

quit chewing and this was 16 yrs. ago, when my son was 4yrs. old.. We are

still chelating with OSR , so if you haven;t tried chelation, I would try

it... Pica is mainly when they eat dirt and other things such as paper,

sticks , etc.. This usually means a mineral deficiency and should be checked

with blood work.. I hope this helps... Also make sure you are using a

detergent without scents and is organic.. sometimes, this could be the

reason..
