Hi

It seemed immediate in my ds11(ie from the first day). It has taken a month or

so for us to move up to a dose he seems really happy on all day long though. (I

have probably been a bit tentative). He's taking 1.5 * 250mg caps.

Thanks.

My kids both seem to need adrenal support, but even 1/4 cap (250mg) of ACE makes

them more irritable. I am trying 1/8 cap today, we'll see what happens.

Hi,

I Checked " Ourkids " website and tried to look for ACE. One parent earlier

mentioned we shouldn't buy adrenal complex or Adrenal granular as it is not

suitable for our kids. So, may i know which company carry ACE ?

Regards,

I have read that taking ACE surpresses ACTH which signals the body to produce

cortisol. So you need to be taking enough ACE to actually supply the cortisol.

A really low dose may exacerbate the problem. When Nutricology had 250mg caps

it worked well for us, but now I can only find lower dosage Thorne ACE.

I wonder how true this is. I haven't read very much on it, except that higher

doses used long term were more likely to cause corticosteroid type side effects.

I'm not totally comfortable using this supplement, but I do think my kids need

some type of adrenal support.

Is anyone using a low dose with your children? Have you noticed any negative

effects?

Also, anyone using it for a long period of time? Have you noticed any side

effects?

Thanks.

I was always under the impression that ACE was just an acronym for Adrenal

Cortex Extract. Not a brand.
