I was not either...and my kids have been on k2 for quite a while...like a year or so and see no difference at all in their yeast levels. What I understood was an enzyme to kill the coating and then edta to kill it afterward and charcoal to mop up....which for my kids would not work....they don't do well with once a day chelators. I am going to try the SPS30 by theramedix alone and see how it goes...I did it once...it isn't a real cheap supp...but go higher and see where we go....I understood that it was to work on strep...but may have other uses. Guest guest
My child is school age and the protocol (to my understanding) is to dose every hour or 2 hours. Can it be done anyother way? I might have to wait until summer. Any suggestions? We have chelated 41 rounds of DMSA and about 20 rounds of ALA. Yeast is getting better but I know I can do better. Guest guest
Thanks! I will look into it. Nothing seems to work for out yeast, except Ampho B. It worries me for him to be on it long term. K2 is Vitamin K , the 2 stands for the type of Vitamin K that is helpful for our kids. This is the addy for the Vitamin K group, they used to send out the protocol when you joined, not had time to see posts there in a while _http://health. groups.. com/group/ VitaminK/ _ (http://health. groups.. com/group/ VitaminK/) HTH Mandi in UK

Guest guest
We did oregano....and with the vit K2 and had no differences. It is as with many things....different kids do differently. I just looked thru the protocol and I do not see the oregano...I see a lot of things...but not the oregano... I am familiar with Tamaro's protocol. It is very good and helpful....for several issues...but didn't notice any help with yeast. We will be starting the SPS30 soon...and seeing if it will help. I am at this point not sure what helps. We are doing nystatin, biotin, 64 mgs a day...which is fairly high..candex and immune boosters and modulators...and still yeast is a terrible issue....we are on almost a completely carb free diet...very difficult but necessary. We have also done over 60 rounds of chelation...dmsa and ala...separately. We are unable to add the ala back in because of the yeast...we started with just ala...and had to stop because of the yeast... We have done High C, lysine, virastop and olive leaf protocols to remove viruses and we are still fighting them. Some of our kids just have a rougher road to travel than others I guess....not sure what else to think. We are not new to this....have been fighting autism for my 3 youngest vaccinated adopted FAS/drug affected in utero kids, for prolly 8-10 yrs...very intensively the last 6 or 7. Guest guest
Have you tried Ampho B? It is the only thing that holds the yeast at bay for us. We have been off and on it for about 2 years. We go on it for a couple of months and chelate as much as we can while on it. Guest guest
It is not safe given IV. Horrible side effects. We I worked in the intensive care unit, we called it Amphoterrible. However, oral Ampho B is not supposed to have the systemic effects like the IV. It is supposed to just work on the gut. According to research studies. I would be interested to know why your Dr. won't use it. Always good to know different thoughts Kelley From: ronnimike <HISSPECIALTOUCH@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Can one ever get rid of yeast?
