Guest guest
hi, I was reading through some older posts regarding odors. Someone wrote that their child's hair smelt like wet dog when wet. I have 3 children. Only 1 of my children's hair smells like wet dog when we wash it -everytime we wet it, and this is our child with issues - being on the extreme left side of the spectrum. My other 2 children's hair NEVER smells like this. We are new to trying to help him by changing his foods; but we have not really dropped anything yet. No detoxing yet...nothing. Has anyone found any relationship between wet hair smells and perhaps some level of " something " he may be high in? I was hoping if I found this link it would help with some of our other concerns too. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx,
Guest guest
Wet dog smell is bacteria build-up in an area of excess sebum excretion, usually due to an allergic reaction or food intolerance. Google " atopy " . Have you tried adding 10 drops of GSE to the child's shampoo? rachyshelly wrote: > > hi, I was reading through some older posts regarding odors. Guest guest
We got wet dog/feces?! Smell from my son's head when we added cytoflora.. so there is definitely some bacteria connection.. it went away after 3 days. So weird. Guest guest
I would be careful with this product for pandas kids...or if you suspect that there has been strep issues....just like the 3lac...it has the strep type pro. Drove my kids nuts!!! Ronni > > > > hi, I was reading through some older posts regarding odors. Someone > > wrote that their child's hair smelt like wet dog when wet. > > > > I have 3 children. Guest guest
Thanks for the heads up Ronni.. I am not sure if we have strep issues.. threelac was awful but I thought it was from the trace casein, which is enough to cause problems here.. I am watching carefully and we had 3 really bad days but some really good gains too.. and now he seems " over the hump " and is doing pretty well.. but I appreciate the caution J From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of ronnimike Sent: Monday, February 08, 2010 3:46 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Child's wet hair smells like wet dog I would be careful with this product for pandas kids...or if you suspect that there has been strep issues....just like the 3lac...it has the strep type pro.
