Guest guest
I have sent several messages on this site and have gotten alot of responses but I just want to let everyone know that in the past 3 months we have started her on b-complex vitamins and have seen a huge difference in her behavior. She is using more words now and even asking for more work at school. I would still like to see even more improvments in her though. Does anyone have any more suggestions? Any would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so very much.

Guest guest
It is actually what fixes the root cause of the problem, heavy metal toxicity. The rest are just temporary help. Please read about it in the files section of the group. Guest guest
how is the lamictal working for you? On Apr 14, 2010, at 10:03 AM, leighann_mc wrote: > I havent done a hair test. Which meds are you hoping to get her off of? What does she take them for? There are chewable non-dairy probiotics. We use American Health which come in banana, strawberry, and blueberry. I actually just read today about water possibly helping with getting alot of the toxins out so I am cutting out all her milk and giving her more water. The b-complex is the only supp. that we are doing as of right now. Any more suggestions on more supps.? Is there more that I should start her on? I would love to be able to get her off her 2 meds all together. Do you think that might be possible? > > > >
Guest guest
It has worked alot better for her than any of the others we tried. But she still has a few seizures every once in a while. Especially when she gets too hot or too excited. > > > > > > Cutting out milk/dairy is an excellent idea. Which meds are you hoping to get her off of? What does she take them for? Guest guest
Yeast can mask itself as behavioral issues, OCD, " stemmy " episodes, etc. For us, we get the hand-flapping, the nail/toe picking and hyperness.  There can be several contributors/causes of the yeasty behavior and there are various supps that can be used to help.  I use Biotin with meals and give probiotics at bedtime. Sometimes when that is not enough, I will give OoO. To help get an initial " control " of the yeast, I had to restrict my daughter's diet. We are on round 51 of chelation this weekend and I am slowly seeing what looks like a decrease in yeasty behavior. (It went back and forth for awhile.) Are you chelating? Have you purchased Amalgam Illness (http://www.noamalgam.com/)? (Keep in mind that the book was written for adults so the referenced doses for supps are higher.) I would get the book, read it then ask more questions. I would also go thru Onibasu (www.onibasu.com) and Moria's site (http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/) (http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ANDY_IN\ DEX.html). Check Onibasu for basic supps (or maybe someone else will chime in) but we always give vitamin C, E, A, magnesium, Zinc, CLO, (I know I'm probably leaving something out :-)  S. ________________________________ From: leighann_mc <leighann_mc@...> Sent: Thu, April 22, 2010 11:29:08 AM Subject: [ ] Re: My daughter  When you say yeasty behavior, what exactly is that? I mean is it when they act out more than normal or just acting out at all? What all supps should I have her on? She only takes b-complex. But I want to know more. Thank you. > > Biotin is suggested to help control yeast. The recommended dosage (on list) is 5-10mg per meal which adds up to 15-30mg per day. If constipation occurs then it is recommended to add magnesium. > > We started biotin for yeast but after further reading, it seems it should be in our supplement routine anyway as we restrict most of the foods that Biotin is naturally found in. Biotin is a " good' bacteria in the digestive tract; when there is an imbalance, it is one of the causes of the yeasty behavior. We have an imbalance due to GI issues (and as mentioned diet because of GI issues (full circle, huh)) so we supplement at meal time which greatly reduces the yeast behavior. It took about 7 days before I saw a change. (I stopped Biotin use several times because I did not see a change in 1 - 2 days as my daughter is a quick responder.) > > HTH, S. > > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __ > From: leighann_mc <leighann_mc@ ...> > > Sent: Thu, April 22, 2010 10:39:09 AM > Subject: [ ] My daughter > >  > Could someone tell me what bioten is and what its used for?
