Guest guest
Hi , My son (pdd), had jaundice at 3days old, that could be a vit d deficience, not sure, but i think so, because we are living in canada in an area where there is not much son in winter appart from the super coats we have to wear, we don't get vit d unless we deliverately take it in a supplement. my daugther had jaundice also, i did not vaccinated her and i'm treating her more carefully (giving her supplements and stuff that i give to my son to prevent pdd on her), when startng supplementing with vit d my son got much better, actually, in summer time his behavior changes for better, and i atribute this to the vit d he gets from the son. Just some thouths... Is there a prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency in those with autism? Or their families? Just curious. I know Vitamin D deficiency is a growing problem, especially in US, but just curious if families with autism had any issues with Vitamin D? Guest guest
jaundice at 3 days old is normal in all babies. Take in the sun without much clothing and remedied. It is a natural occurence. (Not related to Vitamin D) Although they could have a related vitamin D deficiency. We do not vaccinate at all. > > Hi , > My son (pdd), had jaundice at 3days old, that could be a vit d deficience, not > sure, but i think so, because we are living in canada in an area where there is > not much son in winter appart from the super coats we have to wear, we don't get > vit d unless we deliverately take it in a supplement. my daugther had jaundice > also, i did not vaccinated her and i'm treating her more carefully (giving her > supplements and stuff that i give to my son to prevent pdd on her), when startng > supplementing with vit d my son got much better, actually, in summer time his > behavior changes for better, and i atribute this to the vit d he gets from the > son. > Just some thouths... > > JM > > > > ________________________________ > From: agirlnamedsuess21 <agirlnamedsuess@...> > > Sent: Fri, July 16, 2010 9:51:51 PM > Subject: [ ] Is there a prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency in those > with autism? > > > Is there a prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency in those with autism? > Or their families?
